Love this! I ordered it bc we have a lot of coyotes and i wanted to have something with me to scare them off while I am walking the dogs. This is the perfect size and it is loud! And it may be small but it is well made and not flimsy. The key in the picture is a mailbox key so it is a tad smaller than a house key.

LOUD! Bigger than what I was expecting. It is still a small loud whistle but I thought it would be half the size it actually is. I am still satisfied with it though. Recommend if you are looking for a small whistle to put on your key ring.

Whistle is loud enough, I just don’t love the large “FutureSteps†engraving on the back. Also, on the one I received, the O ring isn’t fully clasped so it has a gap, and it makes a little jingle sound with the metal hitting the O ring which I also don’t love.

So… it arrived about 30 minutes ago with a few other items. I opened it up and blew in it. My ears are still ringing! SOS dash dot dash _ . _ a few times will bring help or send them running.

The ring dropped out at the top. Can be easily reclamped tight. Love that it's brass. I have a thing for whistles :) handy on your keyring for possible emergency situations .
