Excellent whistle. Very small but loud. Easily fits on key ring with the small led flashlight which by the way activates if dropped in water. The flashlight also has a manual button. I bought two and gave one to my girlfriend as a safety whistle. She loves it. It's a great gift for any occasion.

Monotone whistle, so even though it may technically be 120 dB, it creates a single pitch sound that is not easily distinguished from other noises. In a noisy emergency, like a storm, or in a situation where there was a lot of vehicle or equipment noise, I doubt seriously that it could be heard..But as a key-chain whistle it is excellent. It is made of good quality metal, super compact design, adds almost no weight to your key chain, and the workmanship is excellent.Plan to buy more as gifts.

love the small size and weight of this whistle. i am disappoint of this free flash light. it's good overall with a fatal design flaw. one can accidentally pressed the on and off button if stored in a bag rendering a spent battery when you need it. i gave it a five stars anyway as i am buying the whistle after all.

Love the whistle, keeping it on my keychain. The light works better than one I had purchased separately so this "set" is all that I carry now.

Loud and hard wearing so far. Not sure what i was expecting but it is not as loud as i expected but still good enough for what i wanted it for.

Very small and very light weight. Only four stars because of cost, but I carry it everyday invisibly on my keychain and therefore I have a very loud attention getting whistle when I need on. I would prefer one a little lower pitched buy this gets the job done.

Just as advertised- lightweight, effective and durable. Surprised the hell out of my dog when I blew it! The light was an added bonus... very bright for its size.

Great whistle, but don't rely on it in an emergency. I had this for several months on my keychain, but when I needed to use it in an actual emergency, I blew and blew and nothing but air went through.Why? Because the little plastic "plug" that redirects the air and produces the whistling sound, was gone. It was wedged up into the whistle at one point, but now, gone. And my whistle was no louder than the one I produce with my own lips.I would recommend this ONLY if you're going to keep it in a protective case like an Altoids tin or sunglass hard case, where you can ensure that the parts of the whistle do not drop out, like they did on mine (and on several others, as I'm now reading from the various reviews).Great idea, horrible design.
