After losing my old style emergency whistle I found this option & decided to try it. It's loud, lightweight, hangs nicely around my neck on the provided lanyard and is very suitable as an emergency whistle while I'm hiking. No problem sending out an SOS on this should the need arise. I like to be prepared.

I purchased this as a necklace for under my top. The whistle is nice and would be great as a functional whistle for a gym teacher or dog trainer. If you were looking to wear this as a daily accessory it’s a bit but and I don’t recommend it for that.However, the product is well made and heavy. It’s clear it would last a long time and the whistle sound is amazing.

It is small. I thought maybe too small. I was really impressed when I blew on it. Big sound. It requires very little breath to create a sound that can be heard for a long ways. Good stuff!

Grandson loves it, we practice at various distances and it definitely can be heard ! We feel safer with the kids outside playing knowing they can reach us… no cell phone needed!
