- Used with 3/8 - 16 drain and fill hole screw on all MerCruiser stern drives, Mercury and Mariner outboards except the Verado series.
- Helps prevent gear lube from leaking out and water from seeping in to the gear case causing serious damage.
- This is the non-magnetic plug screw version.

Fits a 2001 40hp mercury 2 stroke perfectly. Seems like the gaskets will hold up just fine in saltwater. Remember to drain and refill your lower gearcase once a season, and always flush your outboard after every single use.

Needed to find replacement parts for our Mercury 90HP OB Motor. When removing the old one after many times the ORing needed replaced and so did the screw. Found these, came as 2 to a pkg, nice to have a spare. Perfect fit on our Mercury 90 HP OB Motor. Arrived quickly.
