I received this bag just in time to take it with me camping. I wanted a sturdy project bag that would stand up on it’s own and also protect my yarn and my works-in-progress from the elements. I loved the idea that I could combine my purse and my project bag into one, therefore, taking my yarny projects with me wherever I go.I love that this bag has a big cross-body strap but also has shorter handles, so I can carry it whichever way is the most convenient at the time. Since I only use circular knitting needles, I followed the suggestion of another reviewer and took stitching out of the back to make 3 big pockets (instead of multiple narrow pockets for holding standard knitting needles.) That is when I discovered just how well this bag was made. Ripping out those stitches was a long process because the stitching was solid and secure and the material the bag is made of is very sturdy, and still attractive. I love the multiple and varied pockets inside and the big front outside pocket that holds crochet hooks and scissors with a separate zippered pouch for lots of notions. I chose the large size bag because I wanted to be able to carry all sizes of projects with me. Even so it is not too heavy to carry and I have loved taking it with me everywhere I go: church, camping, visiting, etc.I am totally in love with this bag and would recommend it to any yarn crafter.

This bag is a game changer, it holds so much! I absolutely love it! I carry all of my crafting and journaling materials in it along with my Bible, my journal, my writing pads, and even my cutting board. It has all kinds of neat pockets on the inside and outside and places for your pens/markers on the inside/outside. The handles are very sturdy! This can also be used for your knitting/crochet projects! I can fit my extra washi tape, regular tape, glue, scissors, and so much more! I love this bag! The color is gorgeous and I love that the interior is a different pattern from the outside! It is beautiful!! It’s amazing how much it can carry! It’s an attractive purple. It has pockets on the outside for pens. I can’t say enough about this handy bag!

I rarely write reviews but this knitting bag deserves one -- a very good one. I researched dozens of them and ordered several, and this one is the best. It is large enough for a big project but not too cumbersome for smaller ones. I like that there are no permanent dividers in the main section which would restrict the space and limit options for use; yet there are multiple large pockets inside the bag too for balls of yarn or other supplies. The outer zip pocket for small supplies has a double zipper, unlike most others, so it's easier to access and use. Outside on the other side of the bag is a long pocket that is perfect for printed patterns or books. The top closes with a zipper, which looks neater than a drawstring, but there is still room for needles to stick out if necessary. I ordered Black which is really a dark gray, and I like its tailored look. I would highly recommend choosing the Large size; it's not too big at all but can easily hold a large project and when flying there will be room for my purse to fit inside. Love it!

I ordered this bag for my 12-yr-old master knitter, specifically because of the design - functional and not at all dowdy or fussy (cool enough for a stylish almost-teen, in other words). Unfortunately, when it arrived, it had a big brown stain on the inside lining, as if someone had spilled an entire cup of coffee in there. Disappointed, I started the return process on Amazon, and asked for a replacement bag. Not only did I get the replacement, but I got it within *hours* of initiating the exchange - well before I even put the original back in the mail for return. I’m really not even sure how they managed to get the replacement to me so quickly - magical elves? - but customer service like that is worth its weight gold these days. And I ended up with a bag that is cute, highly functional and well-constructed. It holds all of my daughter’s gear with a lot of nooks and crannies that appeal to the organizers among us, and has a nice rigidity to it, so that it stands up on its own and is easy to tote around without smushing and tangling her projects. Very pleased overall.

I know this bag was for yarn crafting, but love using it for Bible Study and journaling. I purchased the small to tote around easier and for travel. There are so many pockets inside and out. It holds a lot of items. Everyday Bible, Study Bible, kindle, external battery pack, glasses, phone, rulers, sticky notes, magnetic book marks, pens, pencils, and highlighters all fit in the small. There are 4 pockets left over. Wow! It is a very sturdy bag. You will not be disappointed.

Looks just like the pics. Perfect size for a medium project back. Fits books too. Pockets in useful places. Zippers are meh, but I think once it all softens and starts getting used that will all work itself out. Good purchase.

I wanted a small knitting back with lots of pockets/slots for organization. I have two large knitting bags, but prefer to use them for storage instead of hauling them around with me. This bag is perfect as I move from room to room and out running errands. I like that it's structured and stands upright, so that even with all the pockets filled with knitting paraphernalia, it doesn't collapse on itself. It's lightweight but sturdy, well sewn, and the straps are comfortable. Right now I have two full skeins (wound into balls) in it, and the sweater I'm knitting and there is plenty of room, I could fit much more in it. I think the gray fabric is beautiful, and love gray and white lining. (I once had a knitting bag with a black lining and hated it, it was too hard to find the smaller items in it.) I like the fact that it zippers closed but that doesn't detract from any of its roominess. I've only had it for a week, which is why I couldn't give it five stars for durability - yet - but I will add a star when I've taken it on a few trips and see how it holds up. Oh, and the price? Incredible bargain in my opinion. It looks like a much more expensive bag.

This bag was worth every penny. Room for everything. I am using oversized balls of yarn - and they still fit! I LOVE that there’s four holes to feed yarn through. And so many pockets and compartments. Very sturdy quality as well. Highly recommend.

It feels extremely sturdy, and it’s stylish with the stripes inside. Note that the black one is not actually black though, it’s more of a medium-dark grey, which I like even better.
