GREAT REPLACEMENT OIL PAN PLUG. BUT THIS HAS A VERY STRONG MAGNET TIP. AND ANY LOOSE METAL FLOATING IN THE ENGINE OIL {AND THERE SURE CAN BE} WILL BE GRABBED BY THIS MAGNET AND HELD TILL THE NEXT OIL CHANGE. IT CAN THEN BE CHECKED AND REMOVED.SMART THIS. BUY ONE, AND ITS CHEAP INSURANCE FOR A LONG LIVING ENGINE. I HAVE THEM IN MY MOTOR CYCLES ALSO.

Replaced timing chains on a Malibu where the chains got so bad they were cutting into metal. After cleaning out the oil pan and pump I wanted this extra protection to help catch any metal that could be hidden floating around in the engine. Impressed by the power of the magnet, pricey but good quality.

Chevy2500 6.0. The machining when threading into the oil pan was satisfying. Machining was perfect. Not sure about copper crush washers other than OEM rubber integrated into the bolt but the bolt itself couldn’t be better
