It is a direct replacement. I pulled my distributer, put this one in, set the timing and viola. Runs great without any issues.

The gasket had a chunk missing, I was able to use my old gasket. The screws are cheap and stripped out on one side of the distributor, luckily I had a parts bin and found a replacement. But for $50 +/- you can't beat it.
