Excellent quality product. Everything was included that you need to complete it. I did add shrink wrap wire covers to improve connectivity and durability of the lighting feature. This is not a couple hour project because pieces have to dry from the glue before moving to the next piece. I worked on it for a week. The touch lighting switch is a nice feature, and the little red light lets you know that you have left the Bookstore battery switched to the on position, even though lights are off.

I recently completed this DIY kit and loved the final result. The warm lights create a cozy atmosphere, and for the price, it offers hours of fun. I took my time and focused on the details. Here are some tips from my experience:Take your time – Work through the instructions slowly. Some parts can be tricky to remove, so use an X-acto knife to avoid damage.Tools – A brown marker is helpful for touching up "wood" edges, and a small craft hammer is useful. For stronger bonds, I used Gorilla Glue instead of the provided glue. Pre-fold the book covers to make gluing easier.Pace yourself – Treat it like a marathon, not a sprint. Play music and do a couple of pages at a time.Book covers – There are many covers, both real and fake. If I could do it again, I’d pick more interesting titles to feature in the front window. There are many similar models, and I’m already eyeing a few for future projects. This is a fun and rewarding hobby!

This was the worst project ever. Separating the pieces from the frame they were breaking. The ladders , for instance, I cannot put together because it broke as I was trying to separate the pieces, the bookshelves attached to the wall, broken the chandelier broken. Some of the pieces that go together, don't even attach correctly, even if I do file them down. I'm extremely disappointed with this book nook. I feel like I've come so far I can't return it so I basically just have to put it together. It's not gonna have any light because the pieces broke so some of the other things will be missing as well. This was a waste of money and time. I've gotten other nooks from other companies and they were not this bad at all.

I’ve inventoried the pkg and all the parts are there, including the glue, parts list and very detailed instructions. The board material seems to be substantial, not flimsy at all like some of the reviews stated. Haven’t started it yet but I’m anxious to get going on it. I’ll update this review after I’ve worked on it a while. But I’m pleased with the presentation so far.

Working on this will require a bit of engineering on your part so that you actually understand some of what they want you to do not always are the instruction clarified well enough or there might be a small difference in that can change the way you do it and the end. I do large 1:12 scale. dollhouses, and even though those could be a challenge of course you’re trying to achieve profession when you build one of those this little kit takes a little bit of work and thinking to get it perfect I don’t believe that it should be a toy for some child of eight. I think it’s more of a 12-year-olds craft kit is what I would call it it but it’s not as fantastic as it looks in the picture. I still recommend it, but I would say either supervise and be ready to possibly finish this for a smaller child or give it to someone that loves to do crafts and perhaps 12 and older.

This is the third such type kit that I have built. I started off rocky with this one, as the wiring part confused me a bit as all the other kits already had the battery lights connected without any additional work from me. I saved that part for last anyway, as the instructions were...out of order I would say, as I still needed to thread the light through different parts separately as I came to those parts. The parts in the instructions were also incorrectly labeled, as it started out naming the lights as part F, then in the other parts of the instructions it was labeled G, making me think I had missed a part somewhere, but no, the instructions were just older instructions. Also, some of these pieces are incredibly flimsy and did not fit. I had real trouble when I go to the first big bookcase I had to put together, as it took me almost an hour of fidgeting with it to get the pieces in (which was incredibly difficult) and even then, the pieces broke and I had to glue them back together (which worked, but not as nicely as I had hoped). I also had some trouble with the one side panel once I was close to done, as it was incredibly loose and it took a lot of force for me to get it to fit and even then it kept coming of. There were also some pieces I ended up with that had no explicit instruction on where to put it, only one photo where you saw where it was placed.Lastly, I was surprised there was no dust cover for the top or cover for the bottom (where the battery/wiring goes) as it seems weird to just leave it open like that.I would say that all in all, I finished it, and I like how it looks, but there are too many fragile parts, too many ill-fitting parts, and inaccurate instructions.

This was MUCH harder than it needed to be. You have to glue EVERYTHING including all the covers onto the books, the shelves on the walls, everything. I have done these before and have nothing break but in this set two of the main shelves broke almost immediately. Wood is very weak and thin compared to others. Took almost 10 hours and you end up not seeing most of the detail. Cute when finished but not worth the frustration.

I really enjoyed making it, until it came to the wiring. It's a little confusing, take your time doing it,

It's half decent quality but some of the spots where it should fit do not fit in , some spots are way too lose as well, I wouldn't buy this brand again for sure , which sucks because they have alot of nice products.

This product was the worse to work with. Very cheaply made. Parts kept breaking in half. You had to glue everything even the little books you had to make.Don’t waste your money. There are other companies that have these book nooks and I have made 3 of the ROLIFE book books and they are easy to put together with no breakage.

The pieces are all laser-cut, and easy to snap off. The printing quality could be better. I find the colors on the pieces are not as rich as the advertisement photos. The dimensions of the pieces are mostly precise with a few of them being slightly off when assembling. Those are not big problems for me as I am pretty used to making adjustments to the diy kits.As mentioned by some of the reviewers, the joining slot can be overly tight sometimes, making some pieces extremely difficult to put together. I used a small metal file and it worked like a charm.Pretty happy with the result.

I bought this after doing 2 other book nook kits I got. The quality is awful. I'm not even halfway through, and so far 5 things have broken/ snapped with the smallest amount of pressure applied. The glue is not great. I'll deal with the smell as I assume it's from the ink.I absolutely do NOT recommend, spend your money on the name brand ones, at least they don't break when you put them together.
