I have used this filter now for over a year in a 4x4 tent. This completely prevents any smell from getting outside the tent. Better price than the others and worth it.

Poor quality materials, poorly packed for shipping, item was heavily damaged. I reached out to the vendor and the email was returned because they listed a fake address.UPDATE: had to return the first busted up damaged, dusty unusable filter and they sent another dented up, damaged filter but this one was put in an extra box to try and protect it but There was damage on the original packaging and not the Amazon box, so someone put a damaged filter into a Amazon box trying to hide the same issues. These filters are DIRTY, my home is covered in carbon. avoid these filters and this seller at all costs. Terrible experience, horrible customer service, poor quality products and shipping practices.

I recently purchased the MELONFARM 4 Inch Air Carbon Filter for my grow tent, and while it works well for controlling odors, I was disappointed with how it arrived. The product came dented, with one side completely flat, which raised concerns about its performance and durability right out of the box.When I did manage to install it, the filter effectively scrubbed the air, and I noticed a significant reduction in smells from my plants. The premium Australia virgin charcoal seems to do its job well, and I appreciate that it comes with a pair of hangers and a pre-filter, making the setup easier.However, the dented condition of the filter left me feeling frustrated and cautious about its longevity. I worry that the damage might affect its airflow efficiency over time.Overall, if the product had arrived in good condition, I’d be much happier with it. Just be cautious when ordering, as quality control might be an issue.
