Easy to connect. Works perfectly. Stays put even without screws. They seem sturdy. My husband is handicapped and I no longer have to worry about the stairs being slippery and I live in the Midwest. Added bonus is that it's also a warm spot for my dog while she waits to come in.

We buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, and these non-slip steps are by far the best purchase I made last year. We live in an area that gets quite a bit of snow and I slipped down the steps taking my dog outside recently. I purchased these non-slip steps to help give me grip when I’m carrying him out. I’ve left them plugged in for a couple weeks now because we have had pretty continuous light snowfall and cold weather every day. They are a lifesaver, literally! I can’t express how well they work and how pleased I am with them. They don’t get too hot. They’re just slightly warm, but they are warm enough that the snow does not turn to ice on my slippery steps. .

The mats worked fine for a bit and now they trip our circuit every time they’re plugged in. No moisture is getting to the connectors. We had the outlet upgrade at significant cost to us and the mats still won’t work. Return window closed yesterday - less than one month since the they were delivered. Very disappointed for the cost, they suck.

Before our last snow fall, I ordered 2-20x60 mats , and a set of 10x30 mats ( covers 5 steps). These mats are great, the instructions are simple and 1 big 20x60†mat plugs into the steps mats. Then I added an extension cord. It comes with a 6.5ft cord with a small power surge built in. They are rubber and anti-slip. Great product

It works well. The 2 issues are 1) Melted ice or snow leaves water on the mats. 2) The connection wires are on the steps and porch. Not a hazard but not pretty either. Still, overall, I would say it is worth purchasing.

These snow heating mats work excellent. I feel so good letting my pup out to a warm mat. Love them!

When it works, they work great, but it seems like at least one of the mats pops the GFCI when wet. All 5 work fine when dry, but I can only plug in 3 of them when it actually snows or ices. But the ones that did work were great, especially right in front of our door where the melt drips down and can make a nice big ice patch right when you step outside.

I was waiting for the proper weather to rate these runners, and ‘Bingo’ ,,,, here we are!We have 6 steps from our back porch to our backyard which we use daily in getting our 2 pups out and back in for potty breaks. I researched these heated runners extensively as there were so many different types / sizes / and prices to choose from.I chose these particular runners because of the fact that they were labeled as nonslip, and the fact that many others were not. I guarantee these runners ARE made from a material that is nonslip EVEN WHEN WET! They heat promptly when plugged into a power source, and get warm to the touch,,,just enough to melt any snow / ice that might start to accumulate during the winter months. We leave ours on while the temps. are below freezing, and unplug from the power source when above freezing. There was one other company advertising nonslip, but the listed price was double the price I paid for these. It appears that this is a new product for this company, and I do admit this made me a little cautious of placing an order. I can now verify that these runners ARE as advertised, and I would buy them again should the need arise.
