I used this for the first time on thanksgiving and was not dissapointed. I smoked Mac N Cheese in a dutch oven, a duck, and bacon wrapped sweet potatoes and this added and awesome flavorful undertone. The barrel chunks smell amazing as they smoke, and they actually last a long time, longer than normal wood chunks in my opinion.I highly reccomend giving this stuff a try, and I will definitely be ordering again. The bourbon smoked Mac N Cheese was a crowd favorite with my family.

You can smell the bourbon in the wood chips as soon as you open the bag. The smoke taste was light, but enjoyable. It’s kind of expensive, but great to keep on hand for special occasions.

I get a great bourbon smoke flavor. My issue is the word chunks are quite large, some are 6-10" long. My smoker uses small chunks, about 2"square.

I barbecue a lot I smoke a lot of meat this one has a really good flavor the smoke level perfect not too strong not too light but for the price there wasn't that many wood chips in there

The bag is smaller then I thought but the wood pieces do slow burn and have a fantastic bourbon flavor. I will purchase again.

Didn’t smoke as well as other wood chunks I’ve used so ended up with basically no bourbon taste. Not worth the money in my opinion.

First off they have the wonderful sweet smell of bourbon. The pieces are the perfect size for smoking and are charred on one side so you know they are from used bourbon barrels. Best bourbon oak wood I’ve tried.

I expected a much bigger package. I received mine yesterday and went to write a review and just noticed the price has also gone up 70%.Great smelling timber but hard to justify at that price.
