I don't normally leave feedback, but this mini or hobby drill press is outstanding. Heavy gauge metal, one step to assemble, and runs quietly and smoothly. Will benefit my 3D printing work tremendously.

Like most the size and smooth operation.Use it for craft work with plastic as I have a larger one for wood working. It is very easy to adjust. Certainly recommend it.

Don't expect a premium product for $70, but for the price this is a fairly slick little drill press. The fit and finish is good. The chuck is good quality, and the shaft runs true. The up-down adjustment of the drill shaft is smooth. The motor delivers LOTS of rpm's but very little torque. At low speed on the variable adjustment, you can easily stop the rotation with your finger on the chuck. On the slowest belt setting, the variable speed reaches 8,000. I doubt if I'd ever use the higher speed pulley combos. (There are 3 pulley combinations and you need to loosen the motor mounting to move the belt.) The height of the head is adjusted with a screw that tightens on the post. This is somewhat inconvenient because the drill shaft only moves about 1 inch, so you'll probably have to move the head up and down for different drill bits. Some sort of geared knob adjustment would be great -- but probably not possible at the price. As with most drill presses, there's no place to put the chuck key when not in use. I drilled a hole in the front edge of the plastic top cover for a place to put it. There's plenty of clearance for the pulley if you want to do the same.Bottom line: a good little drill for the price, only a few minor annoyances.

the drill press works fine. the only problem is that the chuck slipped off a few times, so i am going to use "jb weld" to keep the chuck on the shaft.

There was a small hiccup in the beginning on finding all the parts, but customer service tried hard to resolve the issue [A+ customer service].For any who buy this little drill press, you may find that the chuck is already attached, but what you may not know is the the M5 screw for the Scale Ring may already be screwed into the ring. I thought it was lost, purchased a new screw [got a M5 thumb screw instead] only to find the original one screwed down partially into the Ring. I'm happy now that I was mistaken because I prefer the thumb screw. Less likely to lose it.As of right now, I am very happy with my purchase.
