Any country is capable of making excellent quality, and this holder is a perfect example.It is manufactured by Mitutoyo Suzhou, in China and is by far exceptional in quality as compared to the other Chinese knock-offs Micrometer Stands. Immediately you may be off put by the fact that it is made in China; but note that it is backed by Mitutoyo's name.The threads lock up rigidly and the enamel coating is consistent and appealing to the eyes (unlike the poor faux renditions) . The knobs are very large and provide excellent grip.

I work in the machining sector (CNC). Dealing with tight tolerances can be tough. This tool helps with accuracy as it coincides with speed and repetition. Device is sturdy and easily adjustable. If your running a big order with a tight tolerance use this with your mic. It surely increases efficiency.

The stand is solid and very well built, but the packaging was horrible. Somehow it managed to survive with only a small chip in the finish (from what Ive seen so far). Really? A dense precision measurement device packaged in a cardboard box, placed unsecured inside of a mailer bag - not even a bubble mailer bro. Part of me wants to send it back based purely on principle, but I suppose I’ll make that decision after I’ve had more time to look it over.However, the survival of it’s journey can attest to its sturdiness. If you need a mic stand, this is the one. Just don’t buy it here.

ho acquistato questo supporto originale Mitutoyo pensando fosse di ottima qualità .Una volata aperta la confezione il supporto era ben fatto ma non vale un costo così elevato.Su Amazon ci sono dei supporti che costano la metà e sembrano essere identici.

Mitutoyo 156-101-10 Adjustable Angle Micrometer Stand.Received on 29 November 2020, Reviewed 6 January 2021.Made in China. The Stand is robust, cast iron, and holds the micrometer very securely. The stand sits flat on a work surface – no unsteadiness. Simple to operate and makes repeated measuring so much easier. I choose this more expensive Mitutoyo stand over cheaper ones because I associate Mitutoyo with high quality. I can't know if it is better than the cheaper stands available on Amazon, but I am confident that it will last a long time given the build quality.Being able to free up a hand when making repeated measurements is a big plus. An invaluable tool to have – very glad I bought this.

Employing a dedicated micrometer stand rather than holding the micrometer in the hand is a must when making high accuracy and repetitive measurements. It adds convenience as well as eliminating unwanted thermal expansion of the micrometer anvil caused by skin contact. This stand is an extremely robust and well made example, which I have no hesitation in recommending. I was surprised however that moments after my purchasing the stand the Amazon UK price more than doubled - I was already perfectly aware that Amazon pricing is dynamic, but had not witnessed such an enormous change previously.
