Worked great for my 350 SBC. However the washer was too big. I used the washer from the stock one with the new bolt.

This bolt is a bit longer than the mr gasket bolt that it replaced. The large head on the bolt is great for getting a sure fit with a socket and turning the motor over. I would definitely buy again.

I opted for this vs a Mr. Gasket replacement as this is US made and uses black oxide finish as the original bolt does vs. the Mr. Gasket which is China made and uses what is essentially a yellow zinc finish. Item 1, the Moroso doesn't include a lock washer which is required and which the Mr. Gasket includes. Of course, I knew this from the package information, but when charging $12 for a bolt, you would think they could through in a 20 cent lock washer of some type.But my primary concerns deal with the potential weaknesses of this bolt vs the OEM bolt it replaced. First, this bolt is almost fully threaded well beyond the length threaded in the OEM bolt. You can see this in the photos I've included. A threaded section of a bolt is weaker than an unthreaded section and thus should be kept to the minimum needed. In this case by being almost fully threaded any side load caused by engine torque as the 8lb harmonic balance spins will cause greater flexing in the threaded zone potentially causing fatigue and eventual fracture. The Mr. Gasket bolt has the correct thread length.A second issue is the reduced diameter and thickness of the retention washer. This is easily seen in the attached photos. The more substantial OEM washer can help stiffen the system and reduce flexing. I opted to use the original washer when I replaced the bolt. The Mr. Gasket washer is the correct thickness and diameter.The only nice thing about this bolt is the larger head making it easier to keep the socket on when torquing it to spec. The Mr. Gasket bolt has the larger head, but unlike the Moroso, on which the head appears to be created by welding a cap on, the Mr. Gasket appears to be one piece.The comparison then between this US made bolt vs the China made bolt is definite weaknesses in this bolt vs potential weakness if the China made bolt is not to spec material wise. Given that the China made bolt has the right specs dimensionally, I think it's a better choice.
