Very nice in appearance, easy to install once figured out where to hook alternator wire. The rpm needle is very stable while tractor is running. Dropped one star due to instructions not stating what direction to rotate the pot to adjust rpm reading. When I first started the tractor the needle pegged, so shut down immediately as not to damage instrument. Then had to guess which way to turn the adjustment before restarting. Got lucky. FYI as viewing back of tach, rotate pot clockwise to lower rpm reading. Once adjusted tach has been working well.

Used them on an old cummins on my boat that had tachometer drives. (Didn't hook to the alternator). Setting was very close at install just a minor tweak and locked in.

Second one I ordered, have to return it again because they both are missing the mounting bracket clearly stated in the description and shown in the picture😡😡
