I tested out Disney+ on my HDMI display device and composite video display device, and I can watch programs from the streaming platform without any problems.Also, newer gaming consoles can display resolutions higher than the NTSC (240p/480i) standard, so this may be useful for downscaling those high-resolution video signals to NTSC-level upon recording gameplay to any VHS tape. I tested this adapter with a PS2 HDMI adapter, and I can confirm it works with 240p signals, even if it's displayed as 480i complete with alternating scanlines on a 15.5 khz CRT television.This is exhilarating. If you are interested on doing what I'm doing, then prepare to get excited.

I purchased this to use at our church for an event that was held in the Fellowship Hall. The vudeo projector in that room is older than the others in the church. I got this to hook my laptop up to the projector. My computer has a HDMI output, and this converted it to a video and L & R audio output. The picture was clear with nice color and the sound was clean and clear as well. Would definitely purchase again if I ever need another.

This product does not work 90% of the time. There is a serious reliability issue with the audio output. The HDMI pass-through works fine, but there is either a power issue or insufficient guard-banding for the analog audio output. I tried to email them for support and they never answered back, so leaving a negative review in the hopes that it may save others the aggravation.I was trying to route the analog audio output to our home audio system (we have an amp that drives sound to 6 other rooms). The reason I needed this product, is the latest and greatest Comcast box no longer has analog audio outputs in addition to HDMI.Basically when only watching the TV and routing audio to the home theatre, it works fine (as it should, since all it is doing is passing the HDMI signal straight through). But the audio signal is 100% corrupted. There is ONLY static that plays through the RCA outputs.If I only play audio (e.g. music), this device works fine. but when passing audio and video (audio and video to TV, and audio to whole-house speakers), all I get from the RCA outputs is static.This device simply does not work if you want both and audio and video output to pass through. But it will work for audio only.

In the past 3-4 years I have bought and tried 3 similar units with disappointing results. They were all around half the price and the size of this one, with similar facilities.However, these were rigged with unreliability and varying quality responses to the equipment they were connected to. Usually, the sound was OK - though not always - but the picture was unacceptable. It varied from annoying - with instability and streaks - to unwatchable. Some provided Standard Options (various PAL and NTSC), with varying degrees of improvement, but no real success.Well, this 'Newcare' unit eliminated all the above sub-standard performances and worked perfectly well as soon as it was connected and switched on! Long may it continue to do so! The transition from Digital HDMI to Composite Analogue was fine and stable and the HDMI through Output was very practical and useful.I normally shop from the UK Amazon, as I live in the UK and Greece. However, I took a risk buying this from the USA because it looked more 'professional' and a more 'serious' piece of equipment. In a sense, I also interpreted its higher cost and shipping expenses as a bit of an assurance of quality and this has paid off!Delivery to Greece was comparatively quick - around 3 weeks - by today's Coivid-19 standards and the Customs Clearance Fees proved a shortcut through the Greek Customs that, following the accursed Brexit, currently delay items from the UK so that they take 4-5 weeks to arrive!Recommended Product and Seller!

This HDMI to AV converter was very easy to hook up and works perfectly. I am also pleasantly surprised it also crops the picture to 4X3 and fully fills the screen on my CRT TV.

I use it to split an HDMI output in RCA and HDMI , woks perfect , HDMI to tv and RCA to a chanel 4 modulator , if signal is 4 k the output from HDMI will be HD only but woks perfect
