I had a hard time finding a longer prusik, but New Doar came through. So far, the cord runs smooth and has been able to handle the heat generated when descending.Knot tying was a little tough until the cord wore in bit but it is doing fine now.

I have used this to tie several different hitch knots while in a tree, I haven't had great luck using a Blake hitch with it but a prusic hitch works great. It's a little stiff at first but loosens up with use.

I was initially happy with the Prusik until we looked it over before putting it with my gear. We found that fibers were protruding from the outer sheathing from the core. Someone took the time to attempt to burn these fibers off. Fortunately, we were able catch this and then found the core was abnormal underneath the burnt portion. I refuse to trust any brand that allows their QA to pass something as faulty. I will not be purchasing from them again. Return is in process.

Auch wenn die Schlinge einen qualitativ guten Eindruck macht, sind am Seil absolut keine technischen Details bez. Belastbarkeit, Herstellungdatum, Zertifizierung etc. zu finden. Das ist m.E. für einen Sicherheitsartikel zumindest ungewöhnlich. Hab die Schlinge deswegen zurückgeschickt und einen Artikel gekauft, der diese Informationen am Seil aufweist.
