I needed to connect a propane quick connect with 1/4" NPT female threads to a 3/8" female flare supply line and this fitting did the trick.

The fittings (2) were originally set for Delivery on Sunday. I recieved two independent padded envelopes. One envelope contained a single 1/4†to 3/8s flare and an empty plastic product baggie. The second envelope only contained an empty product baggie. BTW. This second envelope was completely sealed. No fitting in the second envelope. Upon contacting Amazon help, they sent to me a fitting. Amazon made it right!About the fittings, both are perfect for my gas rv manifold. The NPT design is spot on. I do recommend these fittings.

I've received and used several specimens of this product. No issues yet; no leaks yet (high pressure propane; 25 lbs tanks). All specimens have been adequately machined with acceptable threads and flare faces.

It was the exact fitting I needed to make the vacuum pump I had work with the hose I had. Seems well made, and was reasonably priced.
