I love the size of these pie plates for the 2 of us. My husband is a pie-lover and a 9†pie just hangs around too long in our kitchen. Pies are best if eaten within 2-3 days. These small, deep pie plates are perfect. Wash up great in dishwasher. I prefer baking in ceramic rather than glass, and these fit that criteria. Nice fluted edges, packed extremely well with no breakage. On time delivery. Perfect!

These are beautiful baking dishes, a great addition to any kitchen. They are deep dish as described and they are very large for pot pie dishes. It takes an 11" bottom pastry and 8" top pastry. The fluted edge of the dish makes a beautiful pie and makes it very easy to crimp the two pieces of dough together. They are very non-stick - I forgot to butter one of the dishes and the pie still slipped right out of the dish. With pastry in the dish, it holds about 13 oz of stew or fruit (about 1 1/3 cup), so it is quite a bit larger than the normal pot pie dish. Very high quality, good value - definitely recommend.
