I was looking for a nice, good quality, saddlebag for my Australian Shepherd. He’s gained a little weight (he’s 70 lbs for reference) so I figured that he should carry the water and other things we take on our hikes. He burns a few more calories and I don’t have to do it. I wanted it to sit high enough on his shoulders to distribute the weight and I also wanted one that wouldn’t slip if it became a little unbalanced when I took out a bottle of water. This does that very well. When he sees me get it out he gets excited because he knows he’s going our walk. 2 big roomy zippered pockets and 4 smaller Velcro pockets are great for pocket change, dog treats, and a cell phone. The back girth strap fits well and snaps easily I will say that the front straps are a little more difficult. In fact I had to look at the listing here to see where they attached. The pockets have Velcro attached to the body of the bag and the clasps are up underneath so you need to lift the bag up off the Velcro slightly to snap it in place. They’re kind of hidden up there but it’s not a deal breakerI haven’t attached the leash to the pack because my dog is a little reactive with other dogs and I need to have the leash on a collar so I can give a correction if neededThe only negative I can find is that the front of each of the 4 pockets has a 2†x 3†piece of the fuzzy side of Velcro. I can’t think of any reason for why it’s there but remember, this is for a dog and his hair sticks to it. After 3 uses I took a stiff toothbrush and brushed out the hair (see the last picture of it before I brushed it out)All said, I want to get another one for my German Shepherd so I highly recommend it! I think I’ll try the other color this time just for fun.

I love this harness. I’ve tried multiple harnesses for my service dog and have had many issues; from fit to pack sizes I’ve had issues. This pack fits all my needs. I can carry my first aid kit, medication, phone, wallet, treats, food for me, and much more. The side pot he’s are very convenient for frequently accessed items (like my phone), and the zipper pouches can hold a decent amount of stuff. Bag design is very functional. They have a Velcro underneath them that keeps them in place (instead of flopping everywhere). My only complaint is that I ordered a medium and they sent a large (easy mistake). They offered to correct the issue, but I’d already found a way to tack the straps in a way they fit. I wish I’d found this bag earlier and will buy another one in the future so I can swap as the other is being washed.

I have a skinny tall coonhound who has very thin baby fuzz on her belly making harnesses difficult to fit and wear due to sensitivity. I wanted something I could treat with water repellent, decorate, and not need to worry about her slipping out of . This harness is AWSOME. Pockets are reasonable but not too big, fabric is reasonable and well sown. Fits my dog like a glove and looks good, (her ears are sensitive but the neck is easily adjustable so its a non issue when putting it on).We'll be on a 3 week roadtrip in a few months, I am happy to say she'll have a nice fitted saddlebag to carry on our journey for under 100 bucks.

Ordered this not expecting such quality material. Very durable and form fitting. Lots of adjustment available. Pure QUALITY.I ordered a Medium for my 45lb Golden Retriever and it fits great. Has quite a bit more room for adjusting. Highly highly recommend!

My dog moose really enjoys this for our hikes. I like that it has the Velcro spots to add patches. Nice snug fit. I’ve used others in the past, but the were too loose fitting for an active dog.
