Purchased this as a day pack for my Border Collie mix. It's the perfect size for it's intended use. The pack and harness is designed extremely well. The Y shaped chest harness works great for keeping the pack in place (especially with a VERY active dog!). The overall build quality seems solid thus far (as one would expect from One Tigris). Time will tell how well it holds up. So far so good though. There are some nice touches to the pack, such as: Dual attachment points for a leash, a grab handle on top, quality buckles, and some reflective trim. The side pockets run fairly small (enough for a small collapsible water bowl, a foldable frisbee, doggie bags, a few treats, and not much more). I don't carry his water in it (or any other relatively heavy items) due to potentially stressing the pack's material and seams. The material and seams are quality to be sure, however it isn't a heavyweight pack designed for carrying heavier loads as you would when backpacking. For a day trip though, it's ideal. In regard to the fit: I went with a size medium for my 45lb Collie and it's perfect for him (see attached photos). I do wish they offered this pack in more color options... hopefully they'll add some in the future. All in all, this is a great pack by One Tigris. Definitely recommend.

My border collie doesnt mind wearing it on our hikes at all. Adjusts to fit comfortably. Now shes able to carry all our items (phone, keys, poop bags, water, etc) and my hands remain free to hold leash. Seems to be of good quality so far but i dont use it to hook her leash to, those never seem strong enough to hold and i dont want to rip the back pack. I still hook her leash to her collar. Im very happy with my purchase.

I like this backpack a lot as far as weight and comfort for my dog. He's a 70lb lab and it fits nicely and stays in place. The pockets aren't very big, but enough for a long weekend's worth of his food and baggies. It looks great on him; the green is a nice camo shade. However, I am disappointed in the quality of fabric used. I've taken him on the Appalachian trail (nepa stretch) with it twice now. Each time the bag ended up with a straight tear along the fabric's grain a good 2" long. The first time I figured it was a fluke, and covered it with a patch. The second time became annoying. Both times I don't know how it happened. He stays on trail with me, so he isn't wandering through brush, but he must've gone against something to tear it twice. Now, I am afraid I will have I to mend his pack each time we go out. Overall, this is a great lightweight, easy-outing type backpack, but if you are doing anything long term or rougher terrain, I'd suggest upgrading to a better pack.

Super easy to put on and take off. Has proven to be durable and really worked well for going out hiking and city walking with my rough collie. I keep dog bags in one side and treats/water bowl on the other.

I bought this for my dog to wear during a backpacking trip. The goal was that he could carry his food. The backpack definitely wasn't big enough for that (I should have read the description better) but it is the perfect size for him to carry some of his smaller things. I also like the handle on top so that I can help him up steep boulders when we are rock scrambling. Overall its a great purchase and a super reasonable price.

Just what I was looking for. Wanted a harness with pockets to carry stuff. Pockets are big enough. Has hooks both on front and back which is great except that when pull from side the bags become unbalanced. If freely running without leash, the harness stays in place. Love that it is cushioned and fit can be adjustable. Very easy to put on and get off.

I have a medium sized dog that serves as my service dog. Our trainer needed her to wear a backpack to put an alarm in (she is a hearing assist dog) and this is working out perfect. The pockets are just big enough for treats and the alarm but not so huge that it is cumbersome for her to wear. I also think it looks nice on her, we chose the tan because she is black and tan. It includes a ring so this can be worn with her leash as well but the handle is what made it perfect for my uses.

Had to slightly modify the side straps to be a little tighter for our 35lb Shetland Sheepdog. Once this was done though works great for him to carry his gear when we go backpacking. Fits some dog food, rain jacket, burr comb, and a little water proof container for backup matches.Only complaint would be the smallest size being a medium, but other than that meets our expectations.

I went on several trips with my dog and his backpack to test it out before putting anything too important in it. Today was the first day I decided to trust it fully. Put stuff in there that I really need......he ran a zoomy in the woods and returned without the backpack. I searched for it for over an hour with no luck. Very hard lesson learned.
