How nice is to open something that is not made of cheap plastic and very affordable! These are very sturdy and well made and work with ease with a thumb control lever! Look forward to break them back out from winter storage and water with ease!

I searched all three big box home improvement stores, my small local hardware store, a farm supply big box store and my local (WM) big box store for a garden hose metal fan pattern sprayer to use for bathing my dogs.All of the stores I checked only had flimsy plastic garden hose fan pattern sprayers that were poorly made and ranged from $8.00 to $12.00 each.This one has all metal construction and it's easy to turn on and off with your thumb while holding the garden sprayer.

I keep waiting for the day when I can find one of these fans that doesn't leak at the connection sight unfortunately this does. Not bad but any is too much. It is well made otherwise. I like the heft of it and it waters well.

I like the quality. It is made of metal and it is a good size but small enough not to be too heavy. I also likes that is was $8. It is perfect for gently watering your garden without too much pressure. I went locally and only found plastic hose nozzles and they were $30 an our Ace Hardware store.

I wanted to replace old plastic fan sprayers (but they did last for many, many years!) This sprayer is more sturdy and should last long. I think the threading on the plastic sprayers eventually leaked from screwing them on and off of the hose so much. Before ordering, I did see that someone mentioned the unevenness of the water exiting the sprayer, with lower volume in the center and higher volume at the far left and far right. I didn't realize how much that would seem to be a problem until I tried it myself. Why is it this way? I always feel like I'm not equally watering all of the plants. I'd much rather have the spray be the same all the way across. It took a while to get used to the on/off function. It's not easy to see at night! It's something maybe you have to feel more than see.
