This is a well-made, versatile set of wheel bearing bushings, adapters, and pressing tool that I got for about $30 less than a similar set I was considering from a discount tool retailer whose initials are "HF." I immediately put this set to work to press in a new front wheel bearing on a 2008 Honda Ridgeline. I first had to press the bearing into the steering knuckle, followed by pressing the wheel hub into the bearing. This set worked great and made the job easy!All of the components in the set appeared to be well finished and shipped with a protective layer of oil to avoid rust. The blow molded case is convenient and sturdy, and the tool components fit well in their designated slots.I also wanted to make a couple of points about issues other reviewers raised with this set:1) Using the tool to press in a bearing ruined the threads on the screw -- The key to avoiding this problem is to lube the heck out of the screw each time you use it. I took no chances and used a generous amount of general purpose grease to lubricate the screw, and it showed no damage after the two pressing operations I described above.2) The adapters and bushings have numbers instead of diameters stamped on them, making it more awkward to figure out what sizes you need for your particular vehicle -- This set comes with a small booklet provides instructions and diagrams for using it on common brands of vehicles. The diagrams include call-outs showing the bushing and adapter numbers you should use, which you can cross-reference with a diagram and parts list for the set on the last page of the booklet. This makes it easy to quickly pick out the right mix of bushings and adapters for your vehicle, and I don't feel it takes any longer than measuring and matching up diameters on your bearing and tool.

This is yet another decently priced kit from OMT. Solid metal pieces, no sharp burring leftover from the machining, the coating is decent and is holding up so far, and the tolerances are also satisfactory given the price point. The case isn't the best and doesn't hold some of the pieces very well, they feel quite loose and opening it immediately after shipping it was sort of a mess inside, but it having 4 locking tabs is kinda nice. But I don't have very high expectations of any blow molded case regardless of who makes it. I also think the Instruction manual could be improved, while it is a nice addition it would be better if the contents were simply organized alphabetically by make, rather than splitting it up by into foreign and domestic and then again by alphabetical order.

This set was a life saver. I had to remove the rear wheel bearing on my 2007 Subaru. It was my first time replacing a bearing and the removal kit helped make the job go as smoothly as possible. The price is reasonable and the parts are good quality.

I've already completed 6 wheel bearing removal/ installs with this kit. It works! It's built with quality and will do what it's designed to do. For the diy'er it's gonna save you money and for the professional it's gonna make you money. Like others I strongly suggest to generously grease the forcing screw and to skip the power tools. Take your time and use hand tools. The forcing screw is grade 5 equivalent which is strong but not gonna hold up to repeated use with an impact gun. I've had no issue with the screw/bolt or nut stripping out. The threads are still in perfect condition and I've used it 6 times on some pretty stuck/seized bearings! I grease the screw and stick to a 1/2 inch ratchet to turn the nut. It's got a great assortment of adapters and comes in a nice blow molded case. I didn't have any fitment issues between the screw/ bolt and nut like some others reported. I highly recommend this bearing press kit and really can't say enough about it!

I used this to replace the front and rear wheel bearings on my 97 RAV4. Found all the exact sizes I needed. Between the heavy duty bolt / nut and my shop press, this had everything I needed to get the job done perfectly and precisely.

Needed to press out 2 very old bearings and press in new ones and hub.Never quite know how a purchase will turn out.This press was insanely good.Literally earned its money on the first bearing. Second one was a bonus.Very easy to use. Lots of sleeves and plates to choose from.Honestly blew my mind how well this worked.

Quality of tool is outstanding for the price. Effortlessly pressed out rear wheel bearings on Audi A4 B5 and then pressed new bearings and hub back in. Comes in sturdy case. Those damaged in transit must have had a heck of a journey to the buyer. Lots of different plates, so will no doubt find a use for it again. Mine did come with instructions, but the instructions didn't match any of the engraved plate identifiers in the kit. Wasn't terrible to figure out, but would have gone quicker with proper numbers to get the set up right the first time. Very impressed over all. The bolt to wind the bearings out and in didn't show a scratch at end of the job, but I had followed instruction and slathered it with grease first, which I'm sure helped.
