Classic Vining Plant
Morning Glory plants are famous for their ability to climb most any structure! Plant these seeds at the base of a trellis or wall, and you won't be disappointed with the climbing display! This variety will reach a vining height of 4-6 feet.
Morning Glory (Ipomoea Nil Split Second Double)
Gone is the old trumpet form of regular morning glories! This new Split Second Double has shell-pink (sometimes almost coral) fully double 2 inch flowers which have individual petals with notched and frilled margins. These new morning glories are similar to a peony or parrot-tulip, but appear on vigorous vines that easily climb 4 to 6 feet providing new blooms every morning.
Provide a trellis or pergola, and this climber will climb it! You can even allow it to scramble through shrubs and borders. Morning Glory vine care includes deadheading as needed to prevent seeding and to ensure prolific blooming. If you want your morning glories to self-sow the following spring, then leave some of the dead flowers on the vine in order for it to drop its flower seed. Remove entire plant after first hard frost.

How to Grow
If starting indoors, Morning Glory seeds should be sown 4-6 weeks before the last expected frost. Soak the seeds in water overnight prior to sowing, then sow into starter trays or packs with a sterile starter mix.
Seeds should be planted at a depth of 1/2 inch. Keep the soil moist (but not wet) until germination, which will occur in 7-21 days.
After all danger of frost has passed, transplant the seedlings directly outdoors. They should be grown in an area of full sun, although they will tolerate light shade.

I’d sure like some flowers on all the green! Have fertilized with blooming miracle grow and nothing! Won’t buy from this company again!

I was given some a neighbor ordered from this source this spring.Tiny. Period. I started indoors, 10 out of 12. Look at them wrong they died. Very delicate.Picture is a 4 month old vine in a 20 oz styrofoam cup. This is the fifth bloom it has produced. Doesn’t look double to me. I had hoped for at least eight plants the size of a normal morning glory vine to drape over the side of two planters. Very disappointed.The little vine is cute but is going to stay a window sill wonder.I also was given a double red, that was more dismal germination, all were similar size, and all died by 2.5 months, none of those bloomed.All packed for 2022, all planted the same spring. Friend said theirs sprouted about 40% pink, and theee plants red. None of their’s made six weeks.
