It’s about to be winter and those summer coats are pushing out. This thing pulled out so much under cost. I’m not even done. But I’m happy I know I have a solid comb now to pull out that seasonal double coat. I highly recommend this thing. It does tug kind of hard but my dog doesn’t care. She loves being combed. It’s easy to hold. Good design. Easy enough to pull off the hair for cleaning. I think it will definitely help with shedding. Sturdy little comb.

Pretty sturdy comb. Works really good on the long hair of my Maine Coon. (Long) Pulls out lots and lots of fur with ease. Worked extremely well on matting without upsetting my cat. The only downside is the comb doesn't hold onto what the fur it pulls out so it just starts flying everywhere. You have to constantly grab at it and clean off the comb. My other comb needed cleaning often but at least at kept it all on it, but this one works better and faster on my cat without getting him as upset so I will be using it instead. I got the pink one which was half price for some reason. Best deal.New favorite comb.

This style of grooming tool is far superior to the yellow furminator. It not only desheds fur but also thins the coat as well. . It leaves the coat looking healthy, clean and sleek. My dog is a mix, rescue dog. We think he’s part Tenneesee tree hound and shepherd mix but others say he has a pit bull look. He used to shed moderately, but now it seems to increase with age. He LOVES this style deshedder, labeled as PET GROOMING TOOL BY PATYOURPETIt has two sides to it. One for detangling longer coats with 9 teeth, if needed and one side for deshedding which has 17 teeth, and is the side I use for deshedding and thinning. The “teeth†are not sharp, but rounded. My dog now loves to be groomed. At first, I felt like I was sheering a sheep there was so much fur! It is an amazing, effective tool that is comfortable for both the dog and the groomer to use. I highly recommend this excellent product!

This does remove haor from our fur babies, but it is not as good at the individual wire type brushes.

my cats hate being brushed. This brush removed a lot of undercoat fur without pulling. The fur does go everywhere as another reviewer said, but as long as it is getting it out without pulling, I'm ok with that! I'd recommend to a friend

I recommend everyone with pets that have a double or thick coat, to own and utilize this wonderful dematting tool!Your pets will look and feel so much better. This will eliminate any nasty stickers and or cheat grass, from imbedding into the precious skin of your animal. You'll be their best friend for helping them out of much irritation, pain and suffering that have a matted coat can cause!I wish I knew about this tool or I would have been using it for twenty years of owning giant dogs. I've always kept my animals brushed well, but just used regular dog brushes, dog combs, dog rakes and furminater types of tools. Nobody ever told me about this tool that is the most effective and fast way to get to that sometimes stubborn undercoat. I just happened to see this on Amazon and thought I'd try it. I couldn't be more pleased. It works like 80 percent better than any of my other tools. Just be gentle with your pets when using this, because it is much sharper and grips the Matted fur very tight, so it will tug your pets skin quite fiercely! Hence, be mindful, careful, patient and compassionate about how you go about using this on your animal friends. Be respectful of how their feeling and pay close attention to their body language. Stay in tune and checked in with them at all times during your grooming session. If you can't guarantee doing that and also keeping this tool out of reach of incompetent, irresponsible or uncompassionate people, then DONT buy this tool, please!However, you could recommend it to a responsible person to groom your pet for you. Incredible the hair I got off the cat with this! We have 2 long hair cats and one short hair. Doesn’t work as well for the short hair one which makes total sense but the long haired cats…I could fill a garbage bag with their fur when brushing them with this thing! I love it!!!

Both I and my cat love this deshedding brush. At first, I was wary of its size, but not to worry - it works perfectly well on my medium-sized cat. The amount of loose undercoat it pulls up is amazing! It gets deep into the hair coat, unlike the Furminator, which I also have but will no longer use. I highly recommend this tool, and for the incredibly inexpensive price of $4.99, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
