My old auto darken lens quit me and I noticed Amazon carries them. I didn’t have to pay a premium price like I would have if I had bought one at a welding supply house. I am a retired welder of 35 years and don’t weld as often but I am spoiled by using the auto darken lens and now I’m back in business.

With lens space at a premium, thin spatter guards are a necessity. While they do make cut out inner cover lenses for auto lenses, if you have push buttons, it is nice to keep them covered all the way and still be able to use them, so while your mileage may vary, I can say that with mine, these are thin enough to push the buttons through them.

Im currently in a welding school and wanted some replacement lens for my helmet as soon as I went to replace my old lens I noticed a significant difference in thickness it held up for a couple of hours but I had to replace eventually I’ll use the rest of the lenses I got but I’m definitely liking for thicker ones

Lens to thin for my older Jackson hood. A good buckshot while welding overhead you have a runint shade lens. At $85.00 a pop and trip to my welding supplier 35 miles away wouldn't exactly make my day.
