EXCELLENT salt mill. Super simple and easy to use. Very well made, high quality item. After becoming accustomed to the flavor of Celtic Grey Sea Salt, hand harvested from France's shores, all other gourmet salt flavors pale in comparison. But indeed, the grey sea salt does retain moisture and clogs up most salt mills. Prior to purchasing this mill, the clogging issue was a source of daily frustration for me. Then I purchased this Peugeot 32456 salt mill and have been using it multiple times each day for three months now. Contrary to the other reviewer, I find it exceptionally easy to refill it with salt. The nut on top is very easy to remove and replace, and the opening to add salt is very easy to pour into. But best of all, this mill does not clog with moist salt EVER. Works beautifully and efficiently every time. If you are a lover of grey sea salt, the genuine one.....I highly recommend this salt mill.

I went through several expensive salt mills before realizing this was the best for gray salts. It doesn't plug up from the dampness at all. I LOVE IT. The other mills would work for awhile until the grind mechanism corroded. This mill has ceramic grinding mechanism so it does not corrode. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I specifically ordered this for celtic salt. It says it can handle it. No, no it cannot. This has only been in there a couple of days and it's allowed all the moisture from the air to get into the salt so now it's a soupy mess and completely ruined the salt in it. Wish I could return it but now it's all filthy inside.

I've tried two other salt grinders for our "wet" sea salt. They just clogged up and did not have output. This one works just fine, although the output is more flakey than grainey. I highly recommend...

Does it work? Yeah. Was it new/unused, as described? It seems really unlikely. It didn't have the 1.13 oz of "wet" sea salt advertised, it had .78 oz of dried out sea salt crystals. It was sent unsealed, just loose with salt falling out. For $35, this is pretty shoddy, and not foodsafe.

I understand why other manufacturers won't make a wet salt grinder- it doesn't work with salt that is too wet, its just clumps and clogs. I have to say I love Peugeot grinders- my pepper grinder has been life changing but this one just seems novel.

Goeie molen die doet wat beschrijving aangeeft. Maalt Keltisch zeezout goed fijn. Plastic binnenwerk waardoor geen oxidatie.Vrij prijzig maar 1 van de weinige nat zout molens die het echt dagelijks doen.

Je cherchais un moulin à sel pour arrêter d’avaler du sel industriel qui a subi un blanchiment et est bourré d’agents anti agglomerrants.Et je suis tombé sur ce modèle Peugeot.Très beau moulin à sel. Le choix du plastique transparent permet de voir le sel à travers du moulin : c’est vraiment original.Seul défaut, à l’utilisation, le plastique à l’intérieur, s’opacifie légèrement. Certainement dû à la friction avec le gros sel. Mais cette perte de transparence enlève le cachet du moulin.A l’intérieur des ailettes brassent le sel à chaque tout de moulin pour lui éviter de coller. Superbe idée. Je n’ai jamais eu aucun problème de ce côté. Sachant que le gros sel est toujours légèrement humide.Pour remplir le moulin, il suffit de dévisser le moulin par le haut en enlevant la vis en métal (Seule pièce en métal du moulin) puis d’enlever la tête du moulin.Il ne reste plus qu’à remplir le corps du moulin de gros sel (du bon et gros sel de Guérande pour ma part)Petit bémol, la tige filetée centrale est en plastique. A plusieurs reprises, j’ai eu peur de bousiller le pas de vis en plastique en revissant le moulin.Petit logo Peugeot sur le moulin. Gage de fiabilité. Le mécanisme n’a montré aucun signe de fatigue, aucun problème depuis l’achat.

Utilizo casi solo flor de sal porque tiene una sabor muy distinta a la sal tradicional y como es una sal húmeda los molinillos normales no sirven. Este molinillo funciona perfectamente para la flor de sal o la sal gris gorda húmeda. Se lo recomiendo a 100%
