I had a 20 year old Pfister Treviso handle with a seized set screw in my shower, so I had to cut and drill it to replace the valve cartridge that was leaking a gallon an hour. Since they are obsolete, Treviso handles are expensive and getting hard to find (Amazon currently has a seller that wants $100 for the bare handle).I've read horror stories from people who've tried to use adapters to retrofit newer handles to the older valve bodies, so it was with some trepidation that I ordered this.It fit perfectly, no adapter necessary. It only took ten minutes to remove the old trim plate, clean the tile and install this new trim plate and handle on the old valve body. It came with the correct stem extension, allen wrench, and the rubber gasket was already installed on the trim plate.It looks great and works fine. And the kit was less than 1/2 the price of the bare Treviso handle.

I needed to replace the valve cartridge for an old price pfister treviso, but I couldn't get the handle off due to a stripped screw. The plumber said the treviso was discontinued and wanted to replace the entire bath/shower system for $1200. I ended up breaking the handle off, changing the cartridge, and replacing the trim set with this one. It fit perfectly, was cheap, and took less than 20 minutes to install.

Had a 12 year old "New" Price Phister valve body given to me and all I had to do was buy this trim kit, didn't come with shower head or tub spout but was a Amazon wharehouse deal
