These are hands down some of my favorite fishing pliers I’ve ever used. They’re incredibly versatile and feel great in hand. The full metal construction gives them a solid, high-quality feel, though it does add a bit of weight but in my opinion, a positive. My favorite feature is the bungee attachment—it lets me drop the pliers quickly when needed and easily retrieve them without hassle. If you’ve ever used a tool and watched it mysteriously vanish, only to spend minutes searching for it (usually right in front of you), you’ll appreciate how convenient this feature is. With these pliers, I haven’t had to deal with that frustration at all. Highly recommended!

This will be the only review you need to read on these pliers. Grab your popcorn and get cozy, I’m going to explain why I gave this product 5 stars, despite a few complaints. Summary: Great value and hold up to Saltwater and abuse. For the unabridged version, please see below.It occurred to me to write this because, after owning these for 18 months now, I finally noticed the cutters starting to weaken in cutting power. Specifically, they will only cut when I put the line to one end of the cutters and press down very hard. Although I was bummed, I was not shocked. As I’ll emphasize throughout, you will be hard-pressed to beat the value that these pliers offer at the price point they’re at. Luckily, I was able to quickly locate the replacement cutters on the Piscifun website for under $9 shipped to me in FL which I was very happy about. I fish about 200 days per year, primarily saltwater, I use them to cut braid, mono, fluoro, and steel, and they have held up nicely. When I originally purchased them there wasn’t a ton of pliers at this price point with credible reviews so I didn’t have much of a choice. Trust me, I looked because I was not a huge fan of the pliers not having a different kind of grip, you know, the ones with the rubber around the handles that look like they will stay put even when wet and under the pressure of a 30” Snook thrashing at the water line. However, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised that they stay put and won’t easily slip out of your hand. If you look up some of the highest end pliers out there you will notice they share similar design look so I guess it has worked for others as well and probably reduced material cost to be offered at this affordable price. While these did come with a sheath and lanyard, I prefer to have a sheath with a clip that simply clips over the top of your pant/short line. These require you to put your pants belt through the loop which requires more work to get them off and, moreover, I don’t typically like to wear belts when I’m fishing, but again, at this price point I was very surprised they even came with the sheath and lanyard and have held up like they did. I will mention that after most saltwater outings they were rinsed with freshwater. That is obviously a huge difference maker, but you should be doing that anyway. I’ve also used these on quite a few occasions for opening split rings to replace old trebles and they have performed as expected. You will also notice I gave these five stars. That is because I believe you must rate the product according to value, which is really hard to beat as, at the time of the review, we’re on sale for $19! Other pliers around the same price point have since entered the market. One that comes to mind are the Kast King pliers with the orange rubber-looking grips. A fishing buddy of mine actually purchased them very recently and they have held up great so far, and while I personally like the feel of those better, it all comes down to preference and I am near to tell you that these Piscifun pliers are a great value buy and if you’ve had your eye on these then give them a shot.

This is the best set of pliers I have for fishing. It has multi functions ie crimping, cutting, a beak for prying open o-rings, ect. It's lite, fits great in my hand and it's corrosion resistence is better than any other pliers I'ver had. Only one problem, because it's aluminum, it will deform when heavily torques side to side. However, I was able to bend it back to it's proper shape and now know NOT to put too much torqueing pressure on it. NOT a deal break but something to consider. All in all my favorite fishing pliers.

I got this set of pliers because I fly fish. First the last case is nice and sturdy and unlike ballistic nylon you don’t have to worry about it drying. It all attaches to you. The case and pliers so if you drop them you don’t loose them. Cutters are extremely sharp and replaceable. Super value for the money. Can’t go wrong with a set of pliers like these

I Just received the Piscifun aluminum pliers in the mail today and had to put some new hooks on my lures so I figured I’d put it to work right away. I’m very impressed and happy with the split ring tip and how much easier it makes doing this process. To top it off the strength and durability it has for as light weight as it is definitely makes it a perfect product for all fishermen and fisher women!! I also comes with a holster that the pliers fits in snugly along with a light weight cable to attach them so when you’re in the field or on the water you can loop it through your belt to make it easily accessible and you don’t have to worry about loosing it in the water if you drop it. A great multi tool with a pliers that can be used to take the hook out of a fish of any size, the split ring tip that makes the process easier and faster, a crimping section so securely crimp leaders together and a line cutter that cuts smoothly through monofilament and braid with ease. Highly recommend, you’re not going to find a better product anywhere near this price.

Completely what I was after. Great price, quality tool and sheath.

Anything this brand makes out of machined aluminum seems to be awesome. Based on my previous purchases, my expectations before purchasing these pliers was high. A few years ago, I had purchased two of their fly reels and they have held up nicely. The machine work, components and finish on those reels still look great. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell that my new pliers also seem to be at the same level of quality. Honestly, I just don’t know how they offer such a high quality product made out of hard anodized, machined aluminum, and sell it for under $30.The machine work is precise. The design fits comfortably in the hand and they are very light in weight. There are more features in the jaws of these pliers than I will probably ever use. The replaceable cutting blades were sharp right out of the box and the split ring opener at the tip of the jaws is a brilliant idea. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and look forward to their use on my saltwater fishing adventures.

They feel GREAT - Yes, they really do !!Comfortable in my hand 🖐 6'1" & solid, and in my wife's hand 🖐 5'4" small hand 🤗 we bought 2.They're as light as a feather.I squeezed hard with NO flexing unlike so many other pliers, the alloy really is solid.The cutters are precise, they're an "anvil" style - blade onto a flat surface, with a positive feel and they cut beautifully. Over time we will see how they continue. You are supposed to be able to get new blades, hence the inclusion of the allen key, but I don't know where to get them.I bought from Amazon, at a great price AU $. I don't see the need to get new blades anytime soon though.I would not cut wire trace, and they don't recommend that either.Overall, these feel & look good, I expect they will be fine for a weekend fisherman like me and will last for years.Tight Lines ⚟ Ted

Wanted to love this product so much. The tool itself is honestly awesome, but I had to modify my review from 5 starts to 3 as the cord just snapped off on the 3rd fishing trip I used it and can no longer be clipped to my vest or pants.
