Q:Can the inner pole slip OUT of the outer pole accidentally?
A:Never. We've implemented a simple design component to preclude this from ever happening.And, if you WANT to separate the three poles for some reason, it only takes a few minutes to do so.
Q:Does this 12' pole bend in the middle much?
A:Pole is designed with stronger aluminum and thicker walls than most poles, the eye holes will not become misshapen.Your pool tools will be held securely until you remove them manually.

It is light and long enough for the deep end of most pools. Flexed a little too much until I tightened it up. Using it with a hook to fish out our bottom cleaning pool robot. Better than older heavier poles by far!

This works great on our 16 x 32 in ground pool. It fit our brush and leaf attachments perfectly. So far sturdy even extended all the way.

This pole is a nice bright blue color and longer than our original pool pole. The extra length makes it easier to clean all the way across the width even though the shaft is a bit more flex-y than I would like. It still works quite ok and the price was very fair.

Bought four of these to replace 'legacy' poles for vacuum head, wire brushes and nets. Ships in 4-foot box; easy to assemble (3 full-diameter sections + telescopic 3-part end section; all click together with the usual locking nubs). I extended one pole to 18 feet with extra full-diameter section. Even at 18 feet, handles well, with just a bit of flexibility and very comfortable end handle. Able to apply scrubbing pressure when need. Telescopic rings operate smoothly and lock securely. Never realized what an improvement a well-designed pole would make!

I must say, I'm quite disappointed with its performance. While the pole appears sturdy and well-constructed at first glance, it has a significant flaw that makes it frustrating to use.The main issue I encountered is with the grips and locking mechanism. After extending the pole to its full length, the grips are not strong enough to hold it in place. Despite multiple attempts to secure the pole, it keeps retracting during use. This not only makes it difficult to clean the pool effectively but also poses a risk of damaging the pool surfaces or attachments.For a product that claims to have a strong grip and lock, this is a major letdown. I would not recommend this telescopic pool pole to others, as the unreliable locking mechanism defeats the purpose of having an extendable pole. It's a shame, as the build quality and design seemed promising initially. Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reliable alternative.

This does telescope to the length needed, but the threads to loosen and tighten are not well made and not very reliable.
