I love this kit. It is a great introduction for felting. I think it is a smart design to do a painting as your first felting attempt, instead of a fully 3D object like a teddy bear for example. I got it at a great value as an add-on to another product sold by this seller, a pot holder loom, and I'm so glad I did because I think this is the coolest of the two! Perfect for ages 11 and up, in my opinion.

I bought this as a gift to myself. The designs are pretty. I had a little difficulty following the instructions as first but once I learned the technique it became easier. I wouldn't recommend this for small children as there is sharp needles involved, but pre-teens may enjoy this. The kit came with everything needed and was an enjoyable way to learn a new craft.

I bought on a whim after hearing felting mentioned in a book. The kit came with all the necessary pieces and was easy to use. Good quality!

Found this very fun. I had no experience with felting, and they didn’t really provide any technique instructions, but it was still pretty easy. I may be purchasing a few more for my kids to complete! I wish they had other art kits!

This seem like a very good project that was different for the family to do my only challenge was dealing with the needles because the point was so fragile that they tended to break and even if you try to use the needle after it broke it was not as effective. Needed to buy extra needles to finish the project which wasn't the end of the world but it wasn't convenient. It came out looking great though and I would get these again.

I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old daughter who saw it and loved the design. We realized quickly how difficult it was to complete the project. The instructions are not very detailed and we ended up looking up YouTube videos. I still had to help her with the details of the design. The needles are incredibly SHARP! We started to get the hang of it but I wouldn’t recommend this as a “starter set†for kids.

The "felt" base that comes with this is useless craft store felt and not easy to felt on. In addition almost every shape has to be outlined in a thin yellow line which is tedious and challenging on something so small. Nice that frames come with.
