I felt like the angels were going to start singing when I opened the box. These pencils are so pretty just to look at and they look even better on paper. I like to draw and color and I like to own items of good quality. These pencils definitely are. It's just a mind job that there are SO MANY of them. I've only ever owned smaller sets of colored pencils. With these I feel like the possibilities are endless.I bought a booklet to store them in and catalogued what each color looked like on paper. I will say what the pencil shows is not always what color will show up on paper so be wary of that. I'm amazed how many different shades of green there are. Cataloguing took a bit to do but it is nice to have a reference.What I will say to be wary of, other than actual color, is the actual color in the wood is a bit fragile and can break off pretty easily during sharpening, so don't overdo it. It doesn't take much. I've only had that happen twice but it happened back-to-back and was frustrating. You'll go through pencils much faster that way and this set was expensive.Overall though, I'm happy with my purchase.

Love my colored pencils! I bought the 150 Prismacolor to replace my well-used vintage Faber-Castell Spectracolor set. Over the years I tried a few different pencil brands. Most of them were too hard & dry and didn't lay down smooth dense creamy color like my Spectracolors did. I knew Prismacolors were also top-of-the-line, but I balked at the price for a long time before finally realizing if I wanted good colored pencils I'd have to take the plunge. Once I got them I was glad I did. The pencils sit in six plastic trays, within a very sturdy cardboard box with a magnetic flap closure. Time will tell how long the plastic trays last, although I expect the box to hold up well. It is a nice luxiurious presentation, although it is not very portable. For portability I ordered a zippered case with elastic straps for holding the pencils. The eraser is so-so. It works well, but doesn't seem any better than the white vinyl erasers I've been using. The sharpener is great! I really like the two-size sharpening choice. The smaller hole is great for getting a fresh point without removing too much of the pencil and without making the lead too long & prone to breaking.

I love this set of colored pencils. They are expensive but definitely worth it. They are like professional colored pencils. This is my second set of 150. The first set lasted me over three years. I’m very careful with them. The colors are so vibrant and the pencils are soft and smooth. Very easy to color with them. The 150 set has every color you may ever need. I’ve had the 48 set also but just wanted to be able to choose any color and got the big set. I like the box it comes in. It has a magnetic closure for security. The pencils are in trays inside and arranged by color family. They trays are easily removable. It keeps the pencils organized. You will be very happy with this set or any set of Prismacolor pencils.

I am loving this set! I have some pain in my hand and when I write or used other colored pencils my hand would hurt from pushing down. I looked into getting this set because of the ease of application. I've been using it for a few days with no pain. The color is rich with a soft touch. I love the sharpener too. It does it's thing well. I've heard that soft pencils can break and be hard to sharpen but I've had no problems so far. The eraser is good too. I can't find this count in stores. I can only find 130. It was more expensive and didn't come with extras. It was shipped well. I am pleased and shouldn't need anymore pencils for I while but would buy again.

I have waited a long time to treat myself to this collection and I am not disappointed. Prismacolor pencils are by far the best media I have found for drawing on cloth. Having this full range of colors (so very efficiently packaged) has given me more play time in my work. The box is sturdy and convenient to use, this would be a fabulous gift for any artist who uses color pencils, or who has been wanting to learn. Can't beat this price. The small eraser and pencil sharpener are great little bonuses in this set. I have already put them to good use. The best present I have given myself in a long time.

After a disaster with the carrier saying unable to deliver for 3 days we contacted them and asked what the problem was as we had stayed home waiting. They said a problem with the address, well until we had the package we could not argue so we arranged to collect from a local depot. The address was correct and seur have delivered to us before with no problem so who knows. Well on the bright side the package was very well wrapped and I have been very pleased with the results I have had with the pencils. After the bad reviews on breakage and quality it was a long time before I decided to take a chance. I am glad I did no breakages so far and the colours are nice and bright and the pencils are creamy and a pleasure to use.

These pencils..Where do I start?First, due to prime shipping they came 12 hours early!Second, I opened the box to see the magnificently packaged box of holy art materials. When I took off all of the wrappers I was so pleased at the box they came in! They came in a nice, matte finnished box with a magnet for easy closing, and the box contained many different art tips for the pencils. The travel box was undamaged, and beautiful.Third. The quality of the products is behind my expectations. The pencils couldn't blend any smoother and all of the leads are intact. The sharpener was much bigger than I expected, and looks very sleek and cool. Both of the blades are razor sharp and sharpen very well. The eraser does indeed fit well in the hand, and from heat I can tell, it will last much longer than my other art erasers.Fourth. The price! I've seen 75 piece sets going for 100 dollars at stores! This was only 75, free shipping, and I got more than twice the value of the in store deals!Overall thoughts and conclusions.10-10, would buy again. But seriously, this set is a dream come true.

Un sogno! ... Colorato!! Noto che oltretutto le immagini fotografiche non rendono abbastanza giusti zia alla bellezza alla qualita' delle raffinate e bellissime matite :infatti sono estremamente comode all'impugnatura e guidarle nel segno risulta molto gradevole grazie alla loro struttura fine. I colori sia singoli che nella visione d'insieme sono un sogno ad occhi aperti che offre ispirazione infinita. La sfumatura anche tra colori diversi risulta facile e delicatamente morbida.

The colours themselves are actually very good, they're pretty comfortable and a wode range of colours to choose from (150 set)Pros:- good selection- easy to use- smooth colouring- blendableCons:- fragile- don't last longThe pencils are great, however buy them in a store not on Amazon. Before i use pencils I sharpen them all, 15 of the colours are unusable because they are cracked at various points. Others broke after being sharpened a few times.Overall, very good just buy in person!!
