I get along with this just fine. I typically cut up 1 pound blocks of Colby Jack at a time. It is important not force the wire though the cheese quickly - slow and easy is the trick. Yes, the wire may be a little out of square with the slot, but I gently push the finger grip on the direction required. I need to gently pull my slicer handle to the right as I finish a slice - works perfect every time.For the price, I'm pleased with this slicer.

This cheese cutting board is ease to use and clean. Allows you to control the size of the slices of cheese. One downfall I would have is that if the cheese gets into cut groove on the cutting board, it can be a pain. Easy solution is to use a toothpick to clean out groove.

Does the job well, it's had months of heavy use since I got it for bulk rolls of cheese. The arm is slightly out of place so the wire snags a bit on the groove it goes into now, but it still works.

Works like a dream. Had to do a little alignment per the instructions provided and have had no issues whatsoever. Cuts nicely and cleans easily.

The handle arrived, set an angle where the wire would not fit in the groove. I had planned to return it, but missed my return window. With some fiddling, I’ve been able to make it work. And I like it. I’m just not fond of the plinking noise the wire makes when it grazes the wood after a cut.

The 1st one was defective but I had a replacement within 24 hrs! Great product & value! Exactly what I wanted and glad I didn’t settle for the bent one like I often do!

This does not look much. It feels flimsy and ordinary. it works well. Cuts cheese as expected and six months later is still working. We have no complaints.

badly made, and impossible to clean. it went black and mouldy first month because the tight groove is too hard to clean from. the bar moves around and gets out of alignment. Very disappointed waste of money.
