I've had many cheese slicers over the years but nothing beats the simplicity of these items. The ones that come attached to a board are impossible to clean with out using a wooden skewer to get in the groove and they also limit the size of the cheese you can cut. Not so with these. Yes, I have to hold the cheese in one hand in order to carry the slice through to the bottom, but in my opinion the maneuverability it offers is unparalleled.

The cutter works pretty well but a little clumsy to hold. Worse part is that the wire broke off the handle after about 2 months of moderate use

I bought these for some soft Slilton - if you use a knife for soft cheese, it sticks to the knife blade. These are perfect for that. Seem sturdy - although I'm sure they would struggle w/ some walmart cheddar or whatever. I'd use a stainless knife or plastic knife for that.

The wire was broke 2 out 4 it cost me more in time and money to return the crap. Just send me new one. Clearly not gonna lie about it 🙄
