After putting a slide-in camper on my Tacoma, the OME jack was frightening to use. Knew it was time for a hydraulic jack. Found a refurbished Pro-Lift 6 ton on Amazon at a very reasonable price. While I have not had to use the jack in a real world emergency, practicing with it at home inspired confidence that the jack would get the job done, even in challenging conditions. Very pleased with this purchase and impressed with the quality of this Pro-Lift product.

I got two of these jacks and they work very well. I used them to raise a beam under my house. They are very inexpensive and a good buy for the money. I would have given this product 5 stars if the handle was a little tighter fitting and a bit longer, but overall I am very pleased. Some reviewers complained of leaking jacks. Any bottle jack I have used will leak if you forget to tighten the plug at the bottom after loosening to release the jack, especially if you start to use it without realizing your mistake. You can just remove the plug and refill it with hydraulic oil if this happens.

Just fits under my standard 2005 Ford Explorer. Jacks it up easily in just a few pumps. It's reasonably compact. Not much bigger than the standard scissor jack but much quicker and easier to get the car up. I'd previously only used trolley jacks, but this bottle jack is more practical and goes in the car, while the trolley was for home use only. Def recommended.The only gripe is the handle has nowhere to stow on the jack. It's a pretty flimsy 2 part handle, so compact, but a simple holder could secure the handle to the jack so it's not missing when you come to need it at 3am on a snowy road in the middle of nowhere! I use a couple of tarp bungees, but they could upgrade it simply and it would be a big improvement. Still 5 stars though.

I've bought this jack in 2017 and have been using this about 5 times a year doing typical maintenance on my Mazda CX-5. It is still working great for such a cheap product.I saw one review that is "most helpful" (at the top of all reviews) with a complaint of the maximum height with pictures. This guy obviously did not read the manual as the top portion of the jack can be unscrewed for additional few inches to increase the maximum height. So the jacking height as described on this product site is accurate.

The jack worked fine on one side of a trailer weighing about half of the advertised weight rating of this 6 ton jack. On the other side of the trailer it started leaking from the relief valve after a few pumps before there was even pressure on the ram. I inspected it to ensure the relief valve was properly closed, which it was, so I continued. After several more pump strokes, the jack reached a point below its full extension where it would not longer lift at which point it started leaking again, this time a lot. Checked the relief valve again, which was still snug.Opening the relief valve just a small amount to drop the jack caused oil to leak rapidly. Clearly there is a defect in the valve. If it is just a seal or o-ring, it is likely repairable.I have bottle jacks 20 years old that have seen much use under rough conditions and have no such issues. This one failed in the driveway.I returned it for a refund and will purchase a different brand.

Pretty good value for the price point. Bottle jack feels very sturdy, but I will mention I intended to keep this in my 2021 Toyota Tacoma OR in case of an emergency. I have a leveling kit installed on the truck so it sits about 2-3" higher now. With that being said this jack was not able to reach the truck frame. In order to fix this I just ended up cutting some 2X4" to use as a spacer and also protect the frame.

Used it for changing winter tires and it worked like a charm. It is small and compact so could be stored in car for emergency use. Worked well for my SUV but would not recommend it for trucks.
