HOW TO SIZE YOUR DOG FOR A COLLAR
- Measure Accurately: Position a measuring tape close to the fur, right behind the ears and under the jaw.
- Ensure Comfort: Ensure that two fingers can slip between the collar and the dog’s neck. Alternatively, measure the neck and add two inches.
- Check Fit: Once the collar is on, you should be able to slide two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck.
- Adjust Size: If there’s extra room, the collar is too large. You’ll need a smaller size and should remove some links.
- Add Links if Needed: If you can’t fit both fingers, the collar is too small. Add some links to ensure a comfortable fit.

I like that the collar was so easy to put on and remove.No more trying to wrestle with the prongs and pinching your fingers! Can't believe no one thought of this before. Seems very sturdy.

They are very well made and its sturdy. Love the quick-connector. Definitely a game changer for me walking my 50 lb Doberman puppy. I got the Medium Collar which fits well. I just had to take a single link out of the collar which is a very easy thing.Previously my doby puppy keeps biting the leash and walking him was a serious pain. I was worried that using a prong collar might hurt him and so hesitated in buying it. But gave it a try and found it does not hurt hit at all, just gets his attention. He learned really quickly to behave himself.He doesn't seem to mind the collars at all.I think the larger size helps spread the pressure out making them more comfortable.

This is a great collar. We used the medium sized one for our Husky. It’s easy to put on and take off. Recently, the dog slipped out of this collar several times. I couldn’t figure out why until I took a closer look. One of the little levers you squeeze to open the collar was moving freely. It appears that there is a small type of spring inside each of the levers. Apparently one of them broke, so the lever was opening up on its own and then released the locking mechanism and the dog was able to slip out. It’s a shame, the collar is still in good shape, but this doesn’t look like something that can be fixed.

I like the collar has a buckle. Makes it much easier to put on and off. The smaller prongs are better to get the attention of any size dog. I have a younger dog right now so we used the rubber tips on the prongs. It provided the needed result. We hope to transition from this to a non pronged collar soon. The double sloop for leash helps me feel better in the event of a buckle failure the collar won't just drop. Easy to add or remove prong links.

I gave this product 3 stars as it was purchased for a dog and pet parent I was training for K9 Obedience Training. The pet's parent did NOT have the strength to unlatch a standard all metal prong collar for which I have extensive knowledge and experience with several years of use handling & training L.E k-9 and civilians and their dogs. So, it was my first time researching an affordable prong collar with a easy on & off latch. However, the double sided leash connect for proper use is difficult to attach a leash clip to both sides when a dog is new to obedience training and connecting both sides is a MUST for proper use. After trying this prong collar I researched further to find a single clip prong collar with the easy snap on / off attach & disconnect similar to this one sold by another company. It worked just like a standard solid metal prong collar with the single leash to collar clip yet easy on / off clasp

Especially useful on strong and large working dogs with lots of energy to burn. Teaches the dog to behave and stay in line during walks and runs. Uses the dog’s natural instinct to respond to mother’s corrective bite. Doesn’t harm the dog. Even my 8 year old kid can now control the walk safely. Zero tugging and pulling after the dog learned it… took 5 minutes as mine is a strong-willed and smart dog. I also had to adjust as it was too loose at first. Need to be the same snugness as other collars.

The clip/buckle makes the collar easier and quicker to apply than the other style where you disconnect/connect by the prongs. Our dog was excited for his new collar and willingly put it on. Works better than the other style, and looks more comfortable on him. We only use when out on walks, otherwise our dog does not wear a collar any other time.

Product looks well made. We’ve tried it a few times still doesn’t seem to work like I expected it to for my dog. But that’s nothing against the product 😂
