Used as the extra long slip backup for a prong. Works perfect. Probably too thin to use on a walk but great to throw on them in the house and as a secondary option. Holds a 125lb mastif for short periods no problems.

While it is a simple product, it does the job as intended. Doesn't bother our dogs either.

I like the design although I was under impression that the collar was a thicker type of paracord fit for a larger dogThe cords pretty thin :( it kinda cuts into neck but worked ok for my smaller bullyThe attachments feel a bit weak it’s fine for the avarage dog I suppose but not great for a reactive dog who lunges

After working with a trainer for a while with my large dog I finally found a slip collar that works for us. The trainer suggested using a slip collar as a means of quick communication if needed.One thing I learned is that the placement of the slip collar is important, it needs to be high up right behind the dogs ears, if it goes to low like in some of the product pictures, if you yank on the leash this will put pressure on the trachea!! So use the stopper to adjust this slip collar to sit right behind your dogs ears (yet obviously not tight, it needs to still be loose to not impede in regular activity)The material is as described, e.g. a 4.2 mm paracord, which is pretty thin. Together with the stainless steel closed o-ring a quick tuck on the leash with immediate release will translate immediately, so there is no long pull on this collar, and this is how a slip collar is supposed to be used. If your dog is pulling strongly on his leash or you are pulling on your dogs leash for longer, this is not the collar for you! (but then no slip collar would be...go back to a harness or something)

Well made product but can’t use them because my dogs pull hard and I’m afraid because of the diameter of the cord being so small it could slice their neck of my bulldogs. Will return. Better maybe for small dogs?
