This is sooooo much better than the buckle style that came with my dog's e-collar. It's an easy slip over his head and pull the two strings to tighten it, and it stays tightened, no slippage. This is the second one I have had and the first lasted more than five years, meaning one of the strings wore out. My dog wears his collar every day (not all day), so it gets a lot of use. I am very happy with this bungee style. The different color choices are nice too. 8291

I didnt think I'd ever get used to using a prong collar but this one has definitely changed my mind. The old style I had was one that don't weld D-ring and it eventually broke off in 1week, which I'm sure everyone knows is a dangerous. This one with the welding d-ring totally makes safe way to hold my puppy when she is pulling. What's even more surprising was a game changer on walking & training her! Gives my dog instant feedback when she pulls too hard, and wears comfortably the rest of the time. Now walks are much more pleasant, and I should be able to transition back to the normal leash once she's completely broken the habit of pulling.Definitely recommended.

My dog once on a leash he spends his entire time with his nose to the ground, not caring in the slightest about listening. I've tries many forms of collars, harnesses, and head collars in an attempt to understand the full scope, I was took weeks of dedicated training to make him understand the concept that a walk means he walks in front of or beside me, not sniff in a circle. The different was IMMEDIATE starting from our first walk using this dog collar. I am not sure if it's sensory related to feeling the links against him to keep him focused on me, but he doesn't choke or hurt himself when using this collar. The quality of the collar itself is also a huge plus. The link themselves are rounded and have additional rubber ends to prevent any puncture wounds to your pet, the weld d-rings for hooking the leash also help keep it extra sturdy. If your story sounds like mine, I'd recommend at least trying this to see if it helps.
