Have had these for about two weeks and they function as expected. Helps circulate the heat and runs quiet. As other reviews have stated, the only issue I have is the base starts to turn a copper color after about a week of operation. Has no affect on functionality.

It works great! It even started spinning when placed in hot water. It came with a magnetic thermometer. It's a fun toy to put on the wood stove, though I doubt it actually moves much air vs normal convection.

This is a pretty small fan that fits on top of my small stove. It works well, but my only issue with it is I usually have to get it started by starting it to spin and then it usually just goes from there. Once in a great while, it will start itself, but not very often. It moves the air and makes a difference and I'm glad to have it, especially if the power would go out and the ceiling fan won't work.

put this in front of my gas fireplace, and was amazed how fast it heated up and started spinning the blades, just as if it were plugged into an outlet turned on high speed. PROBLEM was the pitch of the blades produced virtually zero air movement. I was excited to try this, but very disappointed that it didn't really work.

We already had one. We wanted two and decided to try this one. Glad we did. It works great. It starts turning very quickly, before our other one, and the fan keeps going even when the fire is dying down.

I have a cast iron gas stove. Now maybe this unit would function better if my stove was a wood burning unit, but if you have a gas one like me, this is not worth the money. I purchased the one that bands around the pipe. Pipe gets hot but maybe not enough? The fan turns but just doesn’t move air. Will probably return

I bought two and they turn on within minutes of fire burning in my stove. They are small but are moving air forward once they kick in!
