Very sturdy & easy to lift from the oven. Good for recipes that have a tad too much filling, so it doesn’t bubble over. Love it!

I have always loved Pyrex products and I was pleased with the quality of this glass pie plate. My only problem with receiving this was the shoddy packing it came in. the box was twice as big as the plate, and was dented and not secured well. It only had one sheet of packing paper in it that did not surround the glass and allowed it to shift around in the huge box. Actually, when I picked it up off the porch, it slipped through the loose side of the top half way and I nearly dropped it on the concrete. I was very fortunate it came unbroken! Shoddy packing for sure. So disappointed in Amazon because this box was not quality checked before shipping. Whoever packed it should be fired.
