While retro fitting my clients fireplace. I came across melted wires on the igniting system. I took a picture of the item looked up on Amazon and found it immediately. Installed it the following day. It was a perfect fit.

This part is not the same as the original Honeywell part. Rather than the inch long split igniter, it has a hot tip igniter. This did not turn out to be an acceptable compatible part as was stated in the ad. It failed to ignite the furnace about 30% of the time. Not acceptable at all We then ordered an original Honeywell part, which was much more expensive of course, but it fires the furnace first time and all the time. I will only order the original Honeywell part in the future. Too much time wasted with this aftermarket part, and too many cold hours it caused when it failed to light numerous times in a row and the furnace when into safety mode until reset.

Replaced the old sensor/ignitor with this product. It glows but no flame. To verify gas valve itself was working I used a lighter to light the burners. Furnace ran well. But it still doesn't start the flame.I bought a new ignitor/sensor, installed it and the furnace fired right up

Affordable and a Good replacement part. Easy to install and now the furnace runs once again. Thankfully before the cold when we need it.

Installed and fits and works just as good as the Honeywell igniter does. Time will tell on its longevity.

It works, however it has a loose wire issue. Twice in first 24 hours of use it has caused my furnace to not ignite even though the lock on the plug is engaged securely. I have to wiggle the wires in the plug for it to make the connection. I’d exchange it, but I need this one installed so I have heat in my home.I might splice the wires on my old igniter plug because that one had no issues with the plug.

It appears to be exactly the same device that failed and I replaced. I did not try to clean the original device as my experience with flame rods is that they will fail again sooner for some reason. I suspect there is a coating on the rod that deteriorates and there is no going back. Other than a color change in the wires this device is exactly the same unit.
