Fit as it should and works . The hood supports on my 335d BMW were weak and allowing the hood to close , these so far are doing a great job .

Took my car to the dealer for another fix and they noticed my lifts were starting to give. Got a $300 quote to get it taken care of. Instead, I placed the order for these lift supports and I received them two days later. Took all of 5 minutes to replace them and saved myself a nice chunk of change.

I purchased a pair of these hood struts for my 2010 E93. The original struts finally went out. Popped these on and they are strong. I had gotten so used to the old worn out struts that held the hood up for years but I had to physically raise the hood. These new ones lift the hood once you lift up just a bit. I will update if these have a short life. I installed them about two months ago

Bought for my '07 328iInstall was easy enough, and they seem to work great for now but it's only been a few days. I was tired of using a hood prop to work on my car since I'm under the hood a lot. Good product for the money, only 4* though because I can't speak for longevity
