Layout of the keys is hard to figure out, not in order so while playing you have to jump around a lot between notes. Fun for the whole family and our pets enjoy it as well.

I ordered this for my husband, as a compromise to windchimes. He loves windchimes, and I despise them. I thought this would be a better option, more mellow, quiet, and limited to when it rains.The drum came with mallets, a plastci clip to hold the mallets, a small music pamphlet, and extra number stickers. The numbers on teh drum are just stickers, held on with tape. This is nice for inside, but I really wanted this for outsid ein the garden. It just doesn't seem liek it would hold up well outside.

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)Wow! These Rain Drums are all the rage right now. It was hard to grab one for a review, and finally acquired one to try out. (Thank You, Inspack!)I can see why these drums are so popular, and amazing-- that's saying something! ;o)This turquoise green 6" 8 note drum comes complete with a black drawstring bag, a nice songbook, two drumsticks/mallets, drumstick holder, and 2 sets of number stickers.I confess, I am not a musician... that said, the sounds from this drum sound pretty melodious and wonderful! Perfect for meditation, yoga, or just plain fun! That said, my drum sounds are pretty good, with a nice, bell-like tones-- save for two of the steel tongues numbered #07 and #01-dot (1 with the dot on top) which did sound quieter, or flatter even. Perhaps because the tongues are smaller. I'm still giving this drum a full score, because it is well made, with a nice rubber ring and feet surrounding the hole at the bottom of the drum, along with the aforementioned accessories.I do have one teeny comment to make to the maker of these drums... the number stickers on this particular drum were peeling off... meaning that they could've been applied so much better, or use a different set of stickers with better adhesives, or perhaps even silkscreen the numbers permanently on the drum, as I saw recently with a different rain drum. ;o)Please, don't forget to enjoy making this ( rain drum) music, it's a balm for your soul! ;o)Give this Inspack Rain Drum (6 inch, 8 notes, Turquoise Green) a try... My son and my husband both enjoy playing on the tongue drum we already have and as soon as i took this out of the package my son was already claiming it as his. Lovely color great tone. It's already getting good use!The music book is nice. I don't know many of the songs but it's still nice to recognize a couple.

This drum came with a pair of little mallets and was packaged well. My kids have enjoyed learning how to use this drum (it has been a loud experience, but they are getting the hang of it). Played correctly this drum can produce a pleasing and relaxing sound.
