This is the perfect pliers for use for salt water fishing. Stainless steel corrosion resistant, large enough to unhook saltwater fish. Also has a tip that allows you to hold fish by the lip. replaces similar pliers lost when kayak flipped.

very handy tool when it comes to removing hooks from bluefish, sharks, skates etc. I like the hole for the string as I keep the pliers on me while surf fishing. a lot of people kill skates when they catch them but I just flip them over and use the pliers to remove the hook and let them go. like any item you use in saltwater wash and oil them after each use.

Pliers work great but mine started to rust in some spots. I do not know if they are good for sea water but stainless shouldnt rust and mine are.

je r'achete cet outil pratique de bonne longeurs, manche caoutchouté, car on me la brisé pour la mécanique, je donne un 4 car la précédente pair avais prit un peu de rouille en espérant que celle-ci soit meilleur car décrit stainless.
