I installed this speaker on a RZR XP4 1000 for my Communication radio. I’m hard of hearing and this improved my ability to hear conversations from my radio. My only wish is that I could benefit if I could increase the volume more. It’s my problem due to not being able to hear in the first place.

Not a whole lot to say about a single speaker, but this one has a surprisingly good sound and the construction is really good. It's not a Bose or fancy speaker, but it's not supposed to be, nor does it NEED to be. It's for voice/communication, and for the price, it's fantastic.

Bought this for my raspberry pi as an external speaker. Technically it works but remember unless your signal has a built in amplifier this will be very quiet.

I was ready to return this when I saw the size it was. (small ) but curiosity got the best of me so I plugged it into a portable radio's earphone jack and WOW it has a Big sound for its size. So instead of returning it I ordered a second. Now I have 2 for those quick needs for a test speaker or for mini stereo applications , CB speaker or radio speaker and more uses for a small profile extension speaker wich a full sound. Its a mono 1.8 phone jack. I ordered a 1/8/to RCA male adapters to expand its connectability even further..

Wouldn’t waste your time with this, isn’t loud enough for a vehicle. Can barely hear the radio

I purchased this because the Whistler WES-350 wasn't available and this appeared to be Amazon-preferred. It's nothing close to the Whistler. No external markings, performance is fair to poor, and the weight is 208 grams compared to Whistler's 251 grams. This one is made in China, vs Taiwan for the Whistler. Externally, the two appear identical. I was able to compare side-by-side. Spend the couple extra bucks somewhere else and get the Whistler WES350.
