C'mon, all of this for less that $60. I know this isn't Kenwood or ICOM quality, but they do work and are as advertised. The batteries would last almost 24 hours on standby whilst scanning, they feel fairly well made and have decent audio. This is a good cheap way to start with HAM radio without a large investment, which was my intention and I am quite satisfied with my purchase!

A great first radio for new Radio Amateurs. Has 1000 channels, supports 2M, 1.25M, and 70 cM bands and you can program it with CHIRP.

Still waiting to fully use - it may be well be a 5, but just haven't been able to fully test. Looks good; charged well; initial start-up and testing good. Need to load channels.

I purchased 4 of these and, they work amazingly well. It's just hard to beat this product at its price point. I programmed them using a new version of Chirp. To be honest I cannot tell if this particular package comes with the USB adapter for a connection to a PC. If you need to buy the adapter they are not expensive and easy to find on Amazon.

I have purchased thousands and thousands of Dollars on amazon and this radio is far the best deal I have received. For the price you get one heck of a device. Police scanner, ham radio, walking talkies, and so much more more then I feel to point out . For sure this is the best purchase I have ever made
