Used this at Dave n buster and i could hear everyone clearly on the other end. For the price it was great but depending oh where you are at it can ruin the audio. Very durable and easy to use even forKids

We used these on a road trip across the country. Never had any issues, sound was clear, batteries still haven't died. Easy to use, I would buy again if I needed too.

Can't beat the price for four walkie talkie radios. Works great with easy to functions. My young sons love playing with it, even though I got them for more serious adult applications.

Bought these for a grandchild who just loves it. He carries it whenever he’s over and comms to grandma and grandpa all day long (even when we’re in the same room). Great value for $ at 4 units. It’s quite clear and loud, although you can control the volume. It transmits clearly from the school and park over 6 blocks away, so it’s not just just a line-of-sight device. So far has not burned through the batteries (after a month), so we’re very pleased with the purchase.

They do tell you that batteries are not included. there are 4 AAA batteries per unit. That is 16 AAA batteries that may last... 2 days? Ah... but it has a charging port... Ok.. so you buy 16 rechargeable batteries that cost almost half as much (or more) than the walkie talkies cost you. But now you have rechargeable right? well yeah.... sorta... You can take the batteries out every day or so and put em in your 16 bay AAA charger (you have one right?) but that is pretty time consuming to say the least. But wait.....it has a charging port so what is the problem? Well... it takes a strange bayonet plug on the unit. the kind that comes with some headsets and in fairness this is a dual charging port and headphones jack. What? you have a charger with that plug on the end! not so fast. 99% chance it is for 5 volts... or even 12 volts or whatever. Anything but the 6 volts these things need. Anything but 6 volt charger will damage these things. Basically 6 volt chargers are a unicorn especially if you want (need) one with a headphone jack. They say to call em for support. I could not find a number anywhere.. Soooo.. the search was on. I found one 6 volt charger that had interchangeable ends and comes with a variety of ends of which one.... is the one you need to plug into the unit. I also found a charger that had a switch to change voltages and ... one of those options was 6 volt. aand they cost like $15 each.... So at this point I have 4 walkie talkies that I paid $30 total for... but.. I got $15 in rechargeable batteries for em and $30 in chargers and I only have two chargers. Which is not a big problem since one (with 2 WT's) will go to my son and one to me. but you have to bring one of em at least for a trip since no other charger will work. Maybe not quite that bad.... I mean you can actually just use 4 AAA drug store batteries in an emergency or take the unit apart and charge all the batteries a couple at a time and then put the recharged batteries back in the unit... Is your head swimming by now? Mine sure was.

I bought these because they are the only walkie talkies I could find that did not require rechargeable batteries. Not sure about long-range use, but they work great over 5 acres. Meaning...clear as a bell from one end of property to the other, with trees, a house, a bunkhouse, a barn, a garage, and vehicles (including a big horse) in between. Very pleased with my purchase and bought for my son-in-law, too! BTW, just want to point out that I believe all those expensive rechargeable walkie talkies would be pretty useless if the power grid went down for any length of time (EMP?). Once all your rechargeable batteries are dead, what would you plug the charger unit into? Just sayin'!

Bought these specifically for a cruise my family was on. We went on Carnival Celebration, and it did not work throughout the ship. I was one floor above my son, and I could only hear static periodically. Sometimes when we would call each other it would be static, other times it would not go through at all. I gave it to him for the kids room as well while I went to another part of the ship, and it didn't reach at all. radio silence. Overall, I was disappointed with these and will be returning as they didn't serve their purpose for me.
