Used this in a bradford white newer water heater (2024) and the one it came with decided to stop creating a spark and I didnt want to wait on a warranty piece so I bought this and it was super easy to change, 4 screws take the cover off and a little clip holds it in. I changed it out and pushed it on the wire to the ignitor and walah the problem was fixed. Easy and cheep replacement.

The last few that I have had were very problematic. They didn't click very reliably so there was no impact to generate a spark. This one works better and reliably clicks.The button does get stuck but comes out of it ok for now with a light tug.The other downside is the pigtail is fairly short so make sure you have some slack in the wire.

To replace my hot water heater igniter. Easy to install which took only a few minutes. Fit just like my old one. I will know about its quality and durability if it last 10 years.

Exact and improved plug -in replacement of the original 10-strike failed piezoelectric pilot light reignighter.. The pilot light protective lens lock ears had to be cut off with a chisle and a hammer to access the flame for a re-light..

Quality of it was great. It was exact same as the one on my water heater. So it worked well. And it was easy to put on.
