I love this brand. It is a sturdy product and more than just a toy. I think it is worth the price. It is in really good shape despite the rough play of a 2 and 5 year old. I have a regular drum as well that is several years old and is in great shape still as well.

As a musician and music teacher, I purchased these because I trust the products that Remo puts out. This was no exception. Now I'm not expecting to get a concert sound out of these, but they don't sound bad at all! They use their durable (if you treat them properly) synthetic heads. These are not tunable and mine are very high pitched, but my three year old son thinks they're fantastic. These are the perfect blend of toy drum and a "real" instrument. Perfect for young musicians.

Having used the Remo Kid's Percussion line at a toddler music class, I was impressed with these REAL instruments that help to encourage children to create music. I was excited to bring them into our home and my son has enjoyed them ever since.These drums have real drumheads and sturdy bases, making them ideal for the rough-and-tumble play of toddlers. While we're working on learning how to treat our instruments properly, it's nice to know that these are able to take a beating and still look good as new. I've even found my son STANDING on his bongos and they did not break or tear.The cost is high, but you won't need to buy them again- making these Remo drums a great value if you're looking to invest in long-term toys that will see your kiddo through their childhood.

5 year old has several other Remo drums, got this because she's big enough to sit them on her lap and they're portable and can take to the park. The print is becoming kind of babyish to her. I wish it didn't have animals, just a pattern. I googled how to bongo because you hit them in a different area than I had thought you did. Remo is indestructible, a music therapist turned us onto them 3 years ago. The only dud instrument was the drum that mimics ocean sounds, it's too loud, beads are annoying etc.

This is a high quality product. It's fun to play. However, I end up using my fingers to get the best sound. You need to slap your hand on an angle in order to get some kind of tone. My son can't do this yet, so I am teaching him to use his fingers for now. Fun to use though.

Lo único que negativo es que los bongos tiene un sonido tan agudo que es posible que se haga demasiado fuerte para tocarlos en un piso.Por lo demás un sonido con mucha calidad, como corresponde a los parches remo.
