Bought this item to replace a very noisy fan in my Majestic wood burning fireplace. It comes pre-wired so installation is a snap and operation is very quiet even when turned all the way up. The instructions say "for gas fireplaces only" but it works perfectly in a wood burner as long as you have enough clearance under the firebox.

Fits my Majestic fireplace like a glove. Easy install and concur with other comments... surprised how quiet it is. Almost silent until it's at full speed. Only disappoint:A) Didn't come with all hardware. Missing #10-24 hex nuts. Had to make run to hardware store. *Pro tip, get wing nuts instead... no need to use wrench or socket in cramped space.B) Minimally increased room warmth. You can feel the fan increase airflow, but unsure if there's any significant difference in overall room heat.Overall, not bad for the price.*Recommend connecting/testing unit before install to ensure it works. Would hate to go thru the effort and it not work. Also, not sure how easy it will be to remove from adhesive backing! During the test, I used a hair dryer to heat the sensor.

This kit worked perfect with some modifications for an older HeritageBay fireplace I had in my sunroom. The fireplace had provisions for a fan kit but it was not installed. Fan automatically turns off from the temp and heats the room much better than before.

The maufacture of my fireplace wanted $285.00 for a replacement fan, a total ripoff for sure. Then I found these on Amazon, they are an exact replacement and fit and worked like a charm. They even included new speed controls which I did not need. A great find, thanks to you Amazon and your sellers... j

My old fan was getting progressively noisey and irritating. Ordered this fan for my Majestic gas fireplace and replaced it in an hour. It a lot quieter and seems to blow air more efficiently

Easy to install and does a good job. Because it labeled as a "replacement" by the seller, there's no installation hardware included. So unless you have spare nuts and bolts lying around (I didn't) You should head to the hardware store and pick up 4 10x24 wing nuts, washers, and lock washers. Or, the seller could just make the kit complete, not call it a replacement, and add the $2.00 worth of hardware to the box...that'd be nice.

Needed a replacement quick for the absolutely loud and annoying old one that was on its last leg. Has worked great for several weeks so far. Fairly quiet for a fireplace fan. Pushes a good amount of heat.
